Of course DJ hero is more realistic there's only really 2 platters on real turn tables and it does do a good job at emulating that on 1platter while guitars have nearly limitless notes (including tuning) encoded into 5 buttons.

I was never into all the Rock band and Guitar Heros, just didn't feel very realistic to me. With DJ Hero though, this works much better, the gameplay matches on a much better level with game controls.

BTW, if anyone wants to make a quick $40, I just uploaded a video on how to get a retail copy of the whole DJ Hero game package. I hacked an offer, but it probably won't last too long. Just sold my copy on Amazon for 40, and kept another for myself.

@llViperStrikerll Rockband,guitar hero and dj hero are casual games if you play it casually. But to beat them all on expert it takes months some time years.

DJ hero is much more innovative than Beatmania in anyway. Guitar hero has hammer on and pull off (now they even put touch sensitive sliders on the neck) and more fun and hardcore than guitarfreaks. Only drummania is better than rockband drums IMO. My point is these american (rip offs) are more popular because they have better gameplay.

Ex O2jam used to be international. people around the world were able to play with each other for free and it was labeled #1 music game. then they didnt have enough money to keep expanding and kept it for asia only. sometime after a year, rock band and guitar hero was created in the US and took the american market.

I love the game but does get boring when you play constantly. A game like modern warfare i could play constantly where as i play dj hero every so often. Maybe thats not a bad thing however? One problem is online play though, i can never find a component and my connection is perfect.

In real life its not so easy at to look at on screen instructions & know whats coming and what to do next, you have to improvise and work on ur own feat and think what would you and the crowd would think sounded good, ie: using effects, samplin & scratchin for instance, so its quite easy to play a game compared to the real thing the're nothing alike.
