Actually Scream'n, beryl, his missus, wrote most of his music(which reflected her dubious talent in lyrics). You can't say he 'sang' as his voice, limited to half the notes of one octave, could not in any way be regarded as enjoyable. His playing, was abysmal for anyone picking up a plectrum. By the way, I was in no way comparing Jud to the beatles, but I do think many of their songs and lyrics were superb and although they wrote crap, it was all swallowed up with their successes.
