There is no doubt the current CTS-V is a fucking powerhouse, it is. Great car, no doubt about it.

But there is something about the B5 S4 that only an owner understands. Maybe its the faint smell of burning oil in the cabin from the lovely valve cover gasket.. Or Maybe its the god damned cup holder breaking for the tenth time.. Or maybe even the amazing timing belt.

Whatever it is, I am DAMN FUCKING PROUD to own one.

I dont understand why so many haters!! Lol... Its a fine tuned german car vs a lazy pathetic Cadillac with exhaust and K&N. They are ok for what they really are, even the newer CTS-V cant stand a chance with my S4, I already raced 2 of them with same results, of course my car is faster now, custom tune and water/meth kit. Sorry guys, those cars will need some serious modifications to beat really fast cars...

@Andy4504 Lol, Yes, I said THAT Caddy IS pathetic!! I would expect more from a car with a 6.0L V8 engine, aftermarket exhaust and intake!! Back then, my car was probably making around the same HP as his, he was riding solo and there was a passanger in my car. The first CTS-V IS pathetic and a stage 3 kit for my S4 is a bolt on kit. Now, I never said the second generation of the CTS-V was pathetic, its got a very good engine! Even though, that CTS-V on the video has engine mods plus a 200 shot!!!

This is clearly not a 2009+ CTS-V, its a 6.0L 400hp CTS-V from 2005 or 2006. So there is no big win here for this heavily modded Audi.

@Dutil35 Heavily modded Audi???? Lol, Stage 3 is a bolt on kit and that was my very BASIC OTS kit!! And the CTS-V had a full exhaust and a K&N intake. That was a friendly pull. Although I was expectin more from a 6.0L V8 engine!!!

@Dutil35 Dude, it's a 5.7 or 6.0 engine vs a 2.7t with OEM bolt on turbos. Be real, no reason to try to downplay the damage, the S4 is clearly making over 400hp and using it to pull away from that giant lazy ass car/engine. While we're on the topic, 400 hp from 6.0L (66hp per liter) is absolutely pathetic from a performance engine. Even base model engines from Audi and BMW make 75-80 hp per liter, with the high performance (NON-turbo/supercharged) engines making 100hp per liter (i.e. RS4 or M3)

@TehB0ss There was no baby on the chasing car. Just a childs car seat on the front seat and he wasnt racing. It was my friend on a stage 1 A6, I was on the S4.

stage 3...your running 19-20 psi on a stage 3 setup?

audis must not be able to put up with much. my evo stock ran 18.5-19 peak psi. after i was done i had a few bolt ons running 26 psi on the stock turbo. making over 370awhp and 370awtq.

OEM K04s are like small turbos and yes, its low boost for a stage 3 but then again you will never see a K04 S4 running more than 23psi. EVOs come with a nice size turbo but I'm sure it tappers at 26psi, now does it holds 26psi? 370awhp is not bad, race gas or pump gas?

ahh ok yeah i figured they had a smaller turbo. it held 26 the whole way. 16g mitsu turbos are amazing. but i was on pump gas. and i was untuned for most of my mods. im thinkin if i would have had a good mellon tune or a good dyno dune i coulda got closer to 400awhp

yeah. 4 launches on about 310awhp. before i started modding it went out lol. i bougth it with the vishnu 390 kit. and it was fast. but not fast enough lol

Not sure what you mean with that but no, my friend told me it has no tune, both times I had like 3 cars on him by 4th gear.
