And, in real life; you have temperatures of the car to your body, and the feel of the ground and what not. So you don't get the full experience. That's why some rally car drivers didn't do well.
At the Gold Cup meeting in 2006 a two seater Minardi was running there and believe me a modern (even though it was two seats and a couple of years old!)F1 car can get round Oulton f***ing quickly! And that's with the chicanes!
If you have ever ridden a motorbike or driven a car around oulton park you would know this is the most out of scale track on any game ever ! But seriously though.... how do i get this 1m22s back, complete nonsense! :(
its spelt chicanes .... and straights.. but actualy in the early 70s the first chicane after shell oil was used, and shell oil corner itself wasnt so banked :)
They used to race Formula 1 at Oulton Park in the late 70's and early 80's as part of the Aurora British F1 Championship! They used ex-works cars that were 2 or 3 years old. It was great to see!

Amazing sound...let's hope Codemasters' F1 gaming rights purchase will mean something similar hitting the Playstation soon!
