I must say that i've played a D-10 and it's the nicest looking guitar i have ever seen and makes themost beautiful sound. about £2400 - £2500 it was. but i'ver never played, seen or heard a better instrument. And I play electric most of the time!!
hi mr larivee!!! i love your guitars! i've been looking for other models such as the taks, taylor but this one sound so good! the neck and tha top freaked me out! it's a quality guitar with warm and crisp sound i've been looking. i live in bahrain and i'm so lucky that there is one music store selling this awesome brand. the salesperson handed me the d03 to test it and i fell inlove with it since then, now i'm saving to buy it ...soon.. ;) watch out!!!! ;)
I bought my D03 a few years ago. I still love it. I've neglected my electric guitar as a result, and I"m quite satisfied with it. You will not regret it.
D10 is super nice. My shop was one of the lucky few that got a D-10 in the bubinga back and sides. We thought we would never sell it but didn't care because we just loved playing it. A few months before we had to shut down for good we did sell it to a good player and it has a lucky home in Alexandria, LA.
Is there any way I could get tabs for that opening tune? I absolutely love. Im looking into getting a P-09 myself and that would be a great little riff to play.
If you are in the Baltimore area just stop by the shop and I'll show you. It's an easy thing on the root a chord and a steady alternating bass. I don't play anything too involved in these videos because we try to do these short videos in a quick take. If you are elsewhere I can tab some of it for you, I guess -).
Unfortunately I won't be around there anytime soon. If you wouldn't mind tabbing just the main section, I'm sure i can figure the rest out on my own. I would appreciate it!
@brhoffman13 i have a P-09 and its fantastic.... but know what your getting. very particular voice to her.... not a versatile instrument, but amazing at what it does. amazing craftsmanship.
i wish larrivees weren't so expensive...my friend has one and it sounds BEAUTIFUL.

That is a great guitar. I'm also going to play this video 200 more times just to figure out how to play that last tune. You're an awesome player.
