I just dont get it tho. I did a 0-120 video with a 2001 Lincoln Continental years ago which is a less powerful car with a 4 speed auto & this M45 isnt any faster when reaching 120. Tho the M45 makes it to 60 faster. When comparing, both reach 120 in about 27 sec.

I love these cars! They are rare and I like the "formal" old school styling....kind of like a modern technology Japanes Mercury Marauder. The newer M's have a generic modern luxury car look. On the rare occations when you see one they really pop out to me...even the stock wheels are nice!
Mine is 7 years old, completely stock with 82K on the motor. The video here is exactly what the car can do. I had one issue getting the car smogged in SoCal three years ago. Infiniti replaced the fuel cluster for $674, That is the only problem I have had. The car feels perfect at 80 MPH and I do that daily on the freeways. Of course the car is starting to get old now but it still handles and feels quite good.
I've always loved the 2003-04 M45's. They look so official and stately. On top of that, they are pretty friggin rare. A perfect heavy cruiser with some punch. I think they are faster than the R/T Chargers.

That is pretty fast for a car that weighs that much. Although I'd take Volvo C30 T5...equal power or more from a Turbo 5 cylinder. 6.2 seconds in that.
this car will take most stock cars on the road. My list so far includes beating a RX8, S4, 350Z, SC Grand Prix, Many civics, mustangs. I have not beat the new turbo porche or my buddys vette. The car moves for sure!
It's got 340HP and 0-60 I've seen it range from 5.7-6.2 seconds....trust me it's def under 6....alll depends how you gas it.....this car's my beater my next car will be an S8

Seems pretty good to me. Anything between 5-6.5 seconds to 60 is really good, you could even call it fast for a large sedan. 2003 infiniti m45 does 0-60 in 6.3seconds. Also funny you should say not fast for a v8, the m45 is a 4.5L V8 300hp 330ft lbs/tq that provides a balance of performance,economy, and luxury. The whole idea V8 is that its cheaper/easier to get a desired power output out of it rather than a smaller engine.
