  • I still miss Charles Kuralt. In fact, I miss the old media entirely. All the current batch want is to be celebrities.

  • In This Clip, From 0:24 To 1:23, It Was CBS News' Sunday Morning Video Open From Sunday Morning, July 6, 1997.

  • Must be easy to make moral judgements about a man who entertained us all, and never claimed to be any more than a story teller... I love Christians, so quick to judge...I can't wait until one Sunday morning when they turn on the t.v and watch the latest Jerry Falwell or Jimmy Baker or PTL? , and they talk about Kuralt being sleazy...Nice.

  • I'm Sure that all the Sunday Morning Fans out there, like me, still miss Charles Kuralt.

  • I was pissed when Kuralt retired. But when he found out what he died from, it made sense. When Kuralt retired, I didn't watch Sunday Morning for a long time.

  • talk about a loser and sleazy, mcDonald was the king . And i have heard people who cant spell sleaze are considered sleazy to. :)

  • You mean, like, when people use the wrong "to?" Are those people sleazy, TOO?

  • Kuralt was a real sleeze. Norm Macdonald's sketch on SNL about Kuralt's kinky lifestyle was classic. Thanks to that sketch, Kuralt will be remembered more as deviant than anything else.

  • It's amazing to me that the TV networks can't come up with anything people want to watch.

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you; and just in case I forgot to tell you: "thank you."

  • Poor Charles Osgood. Seems like he's choking back emotions... :(
