They don't need to fix the controls because they aren't broken. The controls work the way they were intended to. Its just a matter of getting used to.
You know, I used to have problems with Battlefield controls, but now, I can deal with that perfectly, so really you just gotta get used to the controls and you're good.
Now I know you said people don't have time to get used to it and this and that, but they had to get used to COD too. People can just play in a friday night or whatever xD

Seriously, stop comparing games that aren't call of duty to call of duty. Killzone is its own series and its own playstyle, its unfortunate that people expect it to be like another game and then try to carry that playstyle over and it just ruins the structure of the game. I must say that I prefer killzones weighty feeling over call of duty's running on a cloud movement, but I think if they turned it down a little bit more, down to bad company 2 levels even, it would of been perfect! Still love the game though, I mean, look at those graphics and character animations :-)

The response time is much quicker and it is easier to look around. After that I could feel the weight in kz3. u know, battlefield has a unique feel, and so does killzone. the weighty feeling makes it near impossible to escape being killed. basically, if you are in a fire fight with someone, 90% of the time one of you WILL die. if you try to run away, the chances of you surviving is even less. I never understand how the hell the ppl making these videos always clean up. this guy did not even use his medidroid, which obviously means he is not experienced. imo, do not get the game, it is not worth the frustration. The lag and BS ruins thiss game.

well the lots of sells in COD are about the 3 platforms too. so i wouldn't compare the sells. i'm sure it sold a lot on the xbox. and it probably did on the xbox mostly but still. i wouldn't compare sells between a multiplatform and an exclusive.
as a killzone fan, i think 2 was better, it was new and fresh compared 2 kz1 and i spent months on it, kz2 to kz3 to me is like halo 3 to halo odst, they just dumbed down the story and content, in kz2 it was a challenge to rank up and get trophies, kz3 i literally got platinum and general in a week, its too easy (like cod) so yea kz3 and socom 4 seems like disappointments to me all i have to look foward to this year is battlefield 3 and uncharted 3

They have pretty much got the balance right in Killzone 3. I wouldn't say the game is being held back gameplay wise, but sales wise probably as most people want something simple and tame like call of duty. Killzone is easily better than call of duty and halo though.

I agree mate, if the controls were like COD then this game could compete with it in sales but this game takes more skill to aim while dealing with the elements of warefare so both are fun.
No one expects Killzone to get the same amount of sales as Call of Duty, because Call of Duty is the epitome of an entry-level videogame. Thus, Guerrilla would have no reason to try and emulate it. People appreciate the fact Killzone sets itself apart from other games by having different controls and doesn't buckle under the criticisms thrown at it by people who spend time getting used to the engine.
The weighty feel is more or less gone unfortunately I can't even stand the 30% default sensitivity on KZ3 I turn it down to 0%. How anyone can want to turn it up I don't know.
I agree with what you've said... the movement is just too weird. But if they copy Halo/Cod's movement, then this would be another copy basically. This game is unique in it's own way, and I am glad there is no BS like you see in CoD. No noob tubes, good connection, and a realistic FPS.

In Kz3 there are no lightweight soldiers. All of the characters are big bad ass soldiers. The weight feel makes this game unique.

Pres you gotta understand that Killzone isn't trying to be like Call of Duty. The weighty controls give the game a unique feel. Not to mention its more realistic.

I am so tired of ignorant gamers. Killzone is not a Call of Duty franchise it's Killzone, instead of complaining about the controls adapt to them. I won't lie the first time I played this I was like this is crap, After a while I enjoyed it and now its the only way I like to play my FPS games. But everyone is entitled to there opinions.

No one expects Killzone to get the same amount of sales as Call of Duty, because Call of Duty is the epitome of an entry-level videogame. Thus, Guerrilla would have no reason to try and emulate it. People appreciate the fact Killzone sets itself apart from other games by having different controls and doesn't buckle under the criticisms thrown at it by people who spend time getting used to the engine.

The weighty feel is more or less gone unfortunately I can't even stand the 30% default sensitivity on KZ3 I turn it down to 0%. How anyone can want to turn it up I don't know.

I agree with what you've said... the movement is just too weird. But if they copy Halo/Cod's movement, then this would be another copy basically. This game is unique in it's own way, and I am glad there is no BS like you see in CoD. No noob tubes, good connection, and a realistic FPS.

Yeah, I'm done with CoD. It's frustrating to deal with Activisions game. I wasn't a fan of black ops and put that shit down immediately and went back to MW2 until it got hacked. Killzone 3, on my first try of the beta, I though to myself that I wasn't going to end up buying it but after a second and third go, I was obsessed.
