I had just been landing from Moscow as well (but from Domodedovo airport instead) and it was about 22 o'clock on the 8th of august 2007 (exact date!). is that correspond to the time and date of your recording of this phenomenon???
I will never forget this episode, I was waiting for my bagages when this scene had place at the Krasnodar airport. It was after a flight from Domodedovo, isn't it ?
I was at Aeroflot flight from Sheremetyevo, but there were two flights' passengers waiting AFAIR. If not, that dog appears to be a professional actor :)
I think it is great and funny that this friendly canine was able to provide some on the spot distraction and entertainment for these passengers..its so welcome and appreciated to see mans best friend...blissfully unaware of mans tragedy...happily consumed with him self and surroundings...with many people stressed out and worried sick about terror...this dog was great! Thank you for posting it!
bednaya sobachka - the saddest part is that no one cared enough to help it, just stood there and laughed at it, even though it was quite obviously friendly. a sad sick place - it reminds me of how I saw a car run down a dog in K-dar 15 years ago. The driver didn't even hesitate. I collected it from the street and stayed with it as it died on the sidewalk. Proklataya strana.
That particular dog looked muddy (Youtube video quality is insufficient to see that), yet quite happy, neither hungry nor afraid of anything.
Road traffic in Krasnodar is quite a special thing. While passing through this city, our polite and seemingly intelligent taxi driver used many obscene words that can't be easily translated into English. He stopped that immediately after we left the city.
you what what saddest part is how ignorant an american is and how they do not care that your government bombs churches, children and support genocide committed by Israel or turkey. Or even radical terroist. But what saddest is that come and try lecture another country when they vile demons them self.

Unfortunately this video was taken at 7th august, 2007, i.e. one day before you were there. That suggests a regular "performance".
I'm from Russia (Youtube profile actually shows that).

There are not so many dogs actually (especially with increasing number of chinese and korean restaurants... joke :) ).
That's just some of them live in public places, fed by local petty dealers, security guards, etc.
