@nyyguitar3387 thats not entirely ture the main reason for the Shark Fin is because of the camber on the mulsanne straight. Drivers have previously had to hold the steering wheel like a gorilla in order to keep the car straight at speed but with the addition of the fin it has helped stablise the car at speed.

@Noobanator428 that's a new rule this year. all 2011 LMP-1 cars are required to have the "shark fin" to keep the car from rolling over in case it spins out. never actually knew that was an issue, but apparently it is.
@IcyViking Audis have been using V6s in their cars for soooo long.... And wow, people keep ripping Audi saying they win because "rules favour diesels" Well look how small they made their engine. We'll see now.
@dunti21 i know Audi has been using V6 for a long time but it's not exactly the engine you think of when someone mention Audi. Like the legendary 5 cylinder or the 4.2l v8. or i just find it a bit odd that they started with v6 engines in their Le mans car not that it is anything wrong with v6 engines...
Man I love it when I can hear the turbos!! The R18 sounds like it's revving a lot higher to me. The exhaust sound isn't as deep as the new Peugeot 908. Still an awesome looking car! They will be faster than Peugeot at Le Mans this year.
