I like it - with this type of navigation, you can always see what lane you need to stay in, you can see what's ahead or around the corner and you can probably also see terrain elevation for certain areas in your country, making it easier to decide whether to use your bike or your car when you see there's a king size hill along the route... :P

Yeah, this is too distracting for a GPS.

I'd be like, "Wow, there's no traffic, that's weird. And the road is a texture map, that's even stranger. And my car isn't responding when I steer."

The most advanced visualization nav soft is still, Igo8 or Polnav5.5 or Polnav5.5 (reality view) almost similar to what you have seen but only in a few places and is still under developing.

But if you ask me the heart of a nav system is noy the way it looks is precision and intelligent route calculation.

This just shows TomTom,Navigon,Garmin... are so far away in another words CRAP.

This look good for a GTA game or Need for Speed game, but not for GPS (my opinion), I mean: why to look in GPS when you could watch on window ? Trough, it's nice to see it :)

i really dont like this kind of navigation ... whats wrong about maps ? why you need another view which is copy of what you see from window? why dont use simple camera in that case and draw maps information into camera view ?? those 3d city models are totaly useless
