@VstPatches I'm not sure if my question was clear enough. Specifically, if you listen from 3:14, you can hear a large pop on each third beat on the matrix sequencer. It seems to happen when there is a sharp difference in cv values from one step to the next. Is this a design flaw, or, am I just ignorant to ways around this problem?
I've got by see tuts on here and messing around with things, but if you watch this and even though don't understand a lot of it,found some useful help in there. The maximser for taking of DISTORTION and basically connecting cables to matrixs.
hey i have a Roland Fantom x6 and im wondering how to hook it up to work hand in hand w/ Reason? I have a USB Midi Cord but cant figure it out. Think u could help me? Id definitely appreciate it.
Do you want Reason to trigger your Fantom x6?If so then you're out of luck as Reason can't transmit MIDI.If you want to trigger Reason with your X6 then you need to go to the following menu (in Reason 4)-Reason/Preferences/Keyboards and Control Surfaces. If you see your Roland in the list, select it. If it doesn't show then click the Auto-Detect Surfaces button. If it shows in the list, select it, and click the Use With Reason box and you will then be able to control Reason with your X6.
Dude you have literally just opened up a whoooooole new world of Reason for me, I hadn't even touched the combinator before... I can see I ain't gonna be sleeping tonight haha
So I did this and as soon as I inserted the Sequencer I lost all audio. Kinda a noob, please help

I have Reason 4.0 and I do not have Combinator? Is this something I'm supposed to download? Where do I get it?

How do you get rid of the harsh digital popping sounds?
ryangscott 9 months ago
@ryangscott Try an M-Class Maximizer on your master out with Soft Clip and Limiter enabled on. Cheers!
