Can someone tell me how exactly you make use of the feature where you can invert the center column and have it hang down in between the legs? The user manual says it's for close-up photography but I still don't understand how that makes sense. How does that enable closer positioning to your subject? And your camera is positioned upside down? What?

@onlinemonikers Unscrew the piece at the bottom of the center column and you can just lift the center column completely out, then invert it and put the bottom piece back on.

After looking at the video, I bought one. Model C269m8+H1 for HK$2,180.00. It's a 5 sections, very short, compact and light and can handle a load up to 12Kgs. I think i bought the right tripod for my gears.
