  • can you really learn this language in 30 dys if you practice? i really wanna learn portuguese

  • the music is too loud

  • Oh my Gosh, that song sucks.

Well, I just came here to read the comments, because I speak Portuguese natively. But I'm amazed by the amount of people who wanna learn it. If anyone here needs some help, I'm more than up to helping them. I really enjoy teaching my mother language. It's quite a fun for me. (It's not as good as English, but it's still an AMAZING language, you know.)

P.S.: I don't know what to type, I just wanted to write a P.S. comment 'cause it looks funny.

  • is very hard .I can't learn. this is a difficult language with many difficult verbs

  • i can't learn is so hard

  • @thevampires2000 If that's your attitude towards it then trust yourself: it's hard!!

You're not going to speak fluently overnight!! the video covered pretty much loads of words, perhaps if you found another video which broke these words down to pieces. Then maybe you'd have said ''oh it's not that hard after all.''

    Best of Luck!!

  • I am learning portuguese i speak english and spanish, would anyone like to practice with me?

  • music ruined it

  • Now that's what I'm talking about!

  • eu quero pão

  • I LOVE THIS VIDEO S USER,IS SO EASY LEARN PORTUGUESE LIKE THIS WAY."EU ESTOI ESCRIBENDO TODAS AS FRACES DE OS VIDEOS DE ESTE USUARIO",I STILL WATCHING THIS COOL,VIDEOS

THANKS FOR UPLOAD THIS KIND OF VIDEOS,"OBRIGADO"

  • @spikesan same "Como está vocé e vocé bom"

  • eu no falo portugese muito :( I WANNA LEARN PORTUGEEESE SO FREAKING BAD AND IM HALF PORTUGEESE :(

  • RAPIIIIDO DEMAIS.... IMPOSSIVEL!

  • Man how good would it be if you just lower the volume of the music.....

  • I would recomend you reduce the music so we can hear you better.

  • It's going way to FAST!!

  • brasil!e portugal!

Portuguese is one of the most difficult languages in the world , Impossible in 30 days .

Progueses [BRASIL] is Language official .

  • very nice

  • thats brazilian! thts why it is fast portuguese is much more slow

  • It's just too fast :s

  • Portuguese (from Brazil) speakers: around 200.000.000.

Portuguese (from Portugal) speakers: around 10.000.000.

Brazilian portuguese it's the 6th most-speak language in the world.

  • Many thanks ! But if you really need to add music, please turn down the volume : it is even louder than your voice (which is at times inaudible), there needs to be an ajustment here !

But I have nothing against the speed, preparing a travel to Brazil and wanting to understand what's said in everyday life.

(NB - Professor Jason is explaining the language at a much slower pace, also on Youtube : it helps a lot for the basics).

  • thats brazilian portuguese i want portuguese

  • @boulaicas brazilian portuguese is more harder to learn than others, you have to be a smart guy,try the mocanbique portuguese its more easy

  • @boulaicas i dont know if you are still interested but if you search "learn portuguese portugal" you will find lessons about portuguese from portugal

  • it is tooo faast

  • if you spoke spanish it would be easier.....

  • Por favor turn down the music.

  • I really like your videos. but could you turn down the music it is hard to hear you. Thank you. From Rio.

  • This would be helpful without the music. For those of us who don't or haven't spoke Portuguese it's very important to hear exactly how it's being said.

  • @sexyspiceboy02 YES! Too fast as well unless thats just me lol :)

  • sin comentarios

  • A important information for who is trying to learn porutuese! Depending of the region of the country you are, the way of speaking changes. For example: The guy who made this video must not be from the same region I'm from because he speaks the letter "R" in a different way than the people from my state.

  • the guy is brazillian

  • uugh he goes too fast

  • i think 'voce' is for formal language :)

  • No. 'Você' is the informal language. The formal would be 'senhor' (mister) or 'senhora' (madam), used when talking to older people or people you are not acquainted of.

  • no brasil lol. ha diferenças

  • why the anoying music??

  • It'd be wonderful with the music backgroud is lower. :-)

  • ok i am 50% Portugese and don't know the language .......this is very helpful

  • it would be nice if you repeat the things twice (that way i dont have to press play and stop a lot :(

  • some thing for next time one music is to loud and you cant see the last words they dont fit on the page

  • Brazilian Portuguese is STILL Portuguese except that in Brazilian Portuguese the pronuniciation differs a bit as well as a few words. If you were to ask someone from Portugal to read a letter written by a Brazilian, he/she would have no trouble. Likewise for the Brazilian. However, their pronunciation of the words would be a little different. The perfect analogy is American English vs British English. Both are English with slight differences that any1 fluent in the language would easily pick up.

  • my father is portuguese and he says that he can not understand some words. He is also fluent in Spanish and he still doesnt understand some Brazilian portugese

  • sorry ,, dumass father!

  • isso seria util para quem querem aprender portugues (come eu) SE nao tivesse a musica

  • thanks for adding that stupid music morons

  • shit it really is simillar to spanish but sounds completely different

  • yeah , simillar , but sounds completely different.

  • let me tell you something i´m portuguese and íl give an advice if you learn portuguese you can understand spanish or italian but if you learn spanish is almost impossible to understand portuguese

  • Comment removed

  • too much vocabulary for one and a half minutes!! =D

  • YEAH!, learning fast ... just what I need :P

  • Very recently, I make some videos in the Portuguese (original/european).

You can see them in my youtube page. Thank you.

  • Yes i think is better in the Portugal way.

  • I think portugal way is more beautiful, but brazil way is prettier

  • HAHA i know portugues :P this is so weird because i want learn english and you want to learn portuguese xD

  • could you plz widen the bottom screen so i can say the last words thank you:)

  • Vocabulário 1.1: Irmã - Sister

    Vocabulário 1.2: Agora - Now

    Expressões: Às vezes - Sometimes

Prática 1.1: "Eu nunca como queijo de manhã / à tarde / à noite" (I never eat cheese in the morning / in the afternoon / in the evening)

  • This is good but the music is too loud.

  • The music is far too loud, please remove it. Also, speak a little slower. Thank you.

  • Portuguese from Portugal is more European and classy.

The words ended in L and E do not change their sound to U and TCHI as the portuguese from Brasil does.

The word TU is used as the way Spanish use it. The french word QUE is written/read in the same form. The english word THE has almost the same sound as the original Portuguese word DA.

Anyway, the original Portuguese and Portuguese from Brasil are both excellent!

  • Brazilian Portuguese was different because the migration!

Brazil hosts the largest Japanese population outside Japan

Brazil has the largest Italian population outside Italy, five million descendants of German,

also received a significant amount of immigrants Finnic, British, Dutch, Swiss, Ukrainians, Jews, French, Greek, Polish, Icelandic, Romania etc ...

finally .. all over Europe ...

  • gahh i need to learn portugese gahh

  • whats with the music!!

  • gotta love the cheesy sound of music background loop

    Traduction:

brazilian is not quite portuguese, like suco its not juice, in portuguese we say SUMO not SUCO xD this is brazilian not portuguese.

    Translation (not "traduction"):

An expresso in Lisbon is "bica", in Oporto "cimbalinho".

    Are they both not Portuguese?

  • for the Americans and British learn the brasilian portuguese is easier because Brazil received many british emigrants and we adopted a few words in English, for example (restaurant, elegant, diesel oil) in Portugal means (casa de pasto, gira ,gasólio) in Brazil is just put one "e" (restaurante, elegante,óleo diesel)

  • That's not really true. We say "restaurante" ("casa de pasto" is a different concept and really not common anymore - I've seen two in my life...), we say "elegante" ("gira" means "cute", not "elegant") an we use the word "diesel" just as much as "gasolio". The words "restaurant" and "elegant" come from French anyway, which is very close to portyuguese. The reason brazilian portuguese would be simpler to learn has to do with phonetics, not the amount of english words assimilated by the language.

  • I'm not really doing any critical but Brazilian Portuguese is easier, we speak more slowly, you "eat" the vowels, here in Brazil displays a Portuguese channel called "RPTI" sometimes i can´t understand what you say! I can understand the Italian better than the Portuguese from Portugal...

  • So do I.

  • Iris it's understandable that you think Brazilian Portuguese is very different than European Portuguese. However it shouldn't be considered another language.

You're basically mad because the creator of the video didn't name it Learn Brazilian Portuguese in 30 days. It is still Portuguese and you shouldn't deny that. By the way I was born to Portuguese parents in New Jersey that speak no English. or should I say, American English?

  • @IrisMotita

  • Brasileiro nao existe idiota.

Portugues do brasil, portugues de portugal. Pronto.

  • screw you

  • The teacher is speaking too fast. It's hard to catch or keep up with what he's saying. He should slow down.

  • Just pause the vid duhhh

  • Duhh? How the heck would pausing help when what I need is to properly hear the pronunciation??? Is pausing gonna slow it down, Einstein?

  • CONCORDO INTEIRAMENTE!

FOGO! Portugues NAO É A MESMA COISA QUE BRASILEIROO!!!!

  • lindo idioma!

  • its kinda easy for me, because i speak spanish and french and english of course so its kinda easy.

  • I speak spanish, english a little of japanese, some latin, some portugue and some italian, so its easy for me too

  • this is rubbish, this guys accent is rubbish SPEAK SOUTHERN BRAZILIAN accent its the most correctly spoken and he speaks the most simple sentences like if their amazing omg TOTAL RUBBISH
