@Plutoniummatt they both have their uses. Photomatix look more unreal and can be used right, photoshop has less control it feels. Photoshop definitely aligns better.

this is shit! you go way to fast. the pictures are blurry and there is no talking, so you have to read the writing as well as see were all the things are on the screen
1. Photomatix, not Photomatrix.
2. Photomatix has its own alighning process. You don't need PS and it's much faster.
