TM PSG-1 blowback

Just wondering something (to all of you that have a TM PSG-1). When you pull the cocking/charging handle backwards and lock it into place (to open the 'ejection cover' and expose the hop-up), and then let the handle go back to its forward position, does your ejection cover close completely, or does it leave about a 1/5 inch of space. If I fire the gun, then the cover will close after the cover fully opens and then closes, but I don't see a way to close it fully without firing the gun?

It comes with a blow back. It's true that it's a plastic nightmare, but it's the ultimate AEG sniper rifle. Why? Because it has a pre-cocking gearbox, which in turn allows amazing trigger response. The gearbox shell is built like a tank too. The price is mighty high and it's very hard to find :(

The guns not meant to be have a BlowBack function, its just there to give it a small amount of kick, and be cool.

I must admit, I was thinking the same thing when I saw this video awile back. However, I recently got a PSG1, and the blowback is much much better than in the vid. The bolt moves about halfway back. Its very cool to shoot.

I think the blowback on the tm psg-1 is kind of annoyng actually. Its a little noisy and can give away your position.

i still dont know that im wrong. everywhere i look it all says "electric bolwback", all the reviews menchon it, i dont get it. if the gun doesnt have blowback, than why does it? why did marui leave out the feture even thought the gearbox was desined for it (the port at the top of the gearbox).

he still hasnt shown proof. all hes said to me was "you want me to record a convorsatin with the head of marui". i say go ahead, hes just going to tell you that it does...

it's 450, too much for a SEMI AUTO AEG! if it was full auto, it'd be worth it. i don't care if the real one is semi, this is an aeg. i'd rather get a kjw sniper, higher fps as well since tm is held at 280 fps

The reason it costs that much is because 1. It has a blowback feature(I know it is lame) and 2. They are the only company that makes it so they can charge whatever they want and still get buyers.

the psg1 doesn't have a blowback feature this guy added that himself. tm cost a lot simply because they are made in japan and tm has lots of tm fanboys that will buy their overly expensive plastic bodies(annoying whether internals are good or not) for anything

no, the psg1 does NOT normally have blowback and the first ever tm aeg(the famas) didn't have blowback either, and actually none of tm's guns have blowback stock(aegs atleast obviously a lot of the gas pistols do)

I dont know whats wrong with the Psg1's at your store did, and Im pretty sure you didnt check or something was wrong with the gun.

Plastic bodies dont paint chip and full metal airsoft guns are ilegal in japan.

It doesnt take alot to own a shop. but it takes alot to understand why companies do things, TM isnt always cheap...especialy for the Psg-1, They were generous to import to the U.S if it wasnt for the money.

I know alot of airsoft shops in the U.S that dont understand the issues.

Tm's low velocity is because of Japans velocity standards, I dont have to talk about the all metal issue... Tm's been around long enough to not be cheap. Best stock performance like accuracy (which was supreme in all cataglories) hop up quality, consistant Fps, good gas consuption, half of GBB's are budget friendly, dedicated to cusotmers.

Sounds pretty damn good to me (Im not a TM kiss ass or fan boy, but no veteran company deserves these misconseptions)

i am talking strictly aegs, i don't mind tm's gbbs, they are pretty good, and did you know we is tm. same company. all the company's you listed except tanio koba have been better than tm cause you only listen one other company, ksc/kwa, great company and for gbbs AND AEGS kwa is much better. ics is better, i even say cyma and jg is better than tm, you know why? cause i am not paying 400+ for PLASTIC BODIES. the prices should be much lower for crappy externals

It is stock and pulling the charging handle does load a new round into the gun on the Tm Psg-1. I know cause I have one and every review says it.

holy shit you are stupid, blowback does NOTHING in aegs, the piston head is what chambers the new round, and by chamber i just mean pull it into the piston head and fire it off cause there's no real chambers in aegs. so no, it does NOT chamber a new round.

Theres no recoil but there is the imitated bolt action and if you cock the gun when loaded multiple times, BB's start to roll down the barrel, Why cant you accept a realy simple fact.

cause you don't know what you are talking bout, the blowback is not real and doesn't do anything, it'd have to pull the pistol head back and that wouldn't make bbs run down the barrel it'd just jam it. simulated blowback, that means it's FAKE!

Metal isnt always good. Brands like KJW use cheap metal (on there GBB's) that leaves space in between the barrel and the rest of the gun, which causes the bullet to be less consistant on accuracy when leaving the chamber.

Tm and there High quality plastic (for most models) make barrels that seperates the inner barrel and outer barrel and makes a recoil delay so that the bb flight is more consistant.

Blow back isnt a real thing by itself, but it means that the slide or bolt moves apon firing.

Americans are abit spoiled on guns. in Japan or china, a real guns like a lambo in the US.

They cant fire real guns unless they travel or join there military.I live in America and Im lovin it, but my father had to work hell for it. Simulate means to reacreate, and a fake blowback sounds alot like re-creation.

The fake bolt moving isnt a mod, its stock and if you sold'em, you should know it.

I love the Kwa m4system cause its metal and just around 10bucks more than a TM.

But as I recall, TM made the 1st S-System on air market. So the Kwa simply upgraded it to a superfighter unweildy in japan.

1st Psg-1 in market sounds good and only

the JP breaks alot (ive seen it on 5 of my friends). FPs is low even for japan. If you upgrade it to higher fps, might wanna buy a new 100$ gear box as well or face warpage LOL. crap for accuracy.

Tm famas is a rock, V1 gearbox and high ROF.

Ive never seen a TM famas break (my 5 friends got the Tm cause JP sucks in my eyes)

you don't deserve a cookie for not looking around 1. jp, jin peng, china, not japan, 2. you are talking bout their plastic version, there metal version doesn't break and is 350 fps. it's accuracy is pretty good since they added in the metal hop up. besides, even if you were to replace that, it'd still be less than tm for a better body
