Definitely the other sax player is Tim Berne, the guy that said that is correct - I think that possibly the lap steel player is Greg Leiz, but I'm not sure. To be sure, for mine own liking this treatment of the song is far too busy, too many aural elements acting as soundscapes. Shawn Colvin seems a musician to invest in (please forgive my ignorance on this), I'd have liked to see her and Richard play this acoustically...I think such a setting would be exquisite. Of course, it need not be overstated that the other musicians are high calibre, too.
