Actually the only Al Qaida cell operating in Iraq was in the no-fly zone, those places where Saddam had contol these factions was terminated. So no connections between 9/11 and Saddam. The neocons with Cheney as their boss had the idea of invading Irak even before 9/11. In the first Golf war Irak had stil a ok military so US could lose many soldiers if they wanted to take Baghdad. More then 8 years later Irak had lost much of its strength because of sanctions and regular bombing by US and UK. Neocons wanted to expand the US hegemony specialy in areas with oil. So Cheney FORGOT what he is talking about here and started the war. Cheney/Bush were only interested of oil. Lifes??

You should be proud that you have served your country, but the problem is that the Bush administration have been so incompetent that whatever contribution you have been giving might be in vain. Those people I know who have been in Iraq do not think that Iraq is improving, due to the reasons Cheney himself outlined in this clip added with the Bush administations clusterfuck of errors and bad calls e.g. dissolving the Iraqi army. Iran however are all those things which have been stated about Iraq, but the US military have been overstretch by its involvement in Iraq, so it can not make land attack against Iran even though its very urgent. Terrorism wasn't not rooted in Saddam regime maybe terror against his population for control purposes but the Iraq aganda was keeping Saddam in control, which an attack against USA would jeapadise.

Actually the only Al Qaida cell operating in Iraq was in the no-fly zone, those places where Saddam had contol these factions was terminated. So no connections between 9/11 and Saddam. They never found any WMD, so basically Saddam was no urgent treat a diplomatic pain in the arse maybe but no urgent treat.
