@kameraklips I'am not shore who makes them . but the old ones have not change at all for the goal zero power pack. the panels need to be up dated . because the new style needs very little sun light . even on a rainy day .It will still charge like it's bright and suny out side .they are taking to long to up date the old one's.
@dragonworld2008 just emailed goal zero with a question about this. I really would rather have the new panels you are talking about. Though, I did see someone in a video review that goal zero panels DID charge on cloudy days but maybe not as well as the new panels. Wish I knew where to check out the new ones, though.

The music is distracting.
The Wording should be, "it can save 12 hours of solar electricity
if you use the Boulder 30 solar panel to charge it up."
The main idea about solar, is it frees us from nuclear power & dirty coal
by saving electricity from the sun.
The sun should be the main focus of your ads,
not an after thought.
I am trying to live totally off just solar power.
I even dry my clothes "on line", by handing them in the sun.
