These are not pilot episodes, these are the original series. They never made this particular story in the later colour versions (which are now avialabale on DVD), which as always struck me as strange

Ah, the old Great Western. "Not so very long ago" must mean 1947 or earlier.

Yup...All 30 colour episodes are available on one bumper VHS vid....A marathon at over 3 hours! But fun.

Just go to ebay and you will probably find it.

If not.. Maybe amazon.

Ivor the engione and the elephants is available in the US The tape was released in 1999 Ivor the engine and the dragons is also available in the US
