People who think the song is too slow: I prefer it slower at the beginning, so that I can also see if I can learn the song. I play piano as well. That may not have been the original intention of the poster, but it helps us who often request tutorials. As for being faster at around 2:14 - THAT part is showing what it SHOULD be played like.

Personally as a musician I couldn't commend what you've done with this tune enough. I can see how much effort you put into this playing and I simply love how you took an already great piece and tried to put your own twist into it. Starting slow and progressively getting faster just gives off the feeling of the struggle that is being dealt with and I can feel the emotion pouring out of every key hit. I do think that some notes were off key in the slow section but I can look past that. Great job

For Pete's sake, people, it's art. Don't get me wrong, you just can't top the original Gerudo Valley, but people do slower interpretations of songs all the time. Just because you prefer it faster (which it does get, around 2:30 or so) doesn't mean you have to insult it. Yes, it's a cherished childhood memory, and those usually shouldn't be screwed with, but I think it's great that he's done this, it shows how deeply he appreciates the music. And isn't that the whole point of these to start with?
