Ebene is "ehben" which means ebony in English

Also "Damier Ebene" in English means "Checkered Ebony" ! :-D

Irishan21, it's actually sort of like this: "Vwi-toan", but when you get to the "N", you push your tongue to the upper back palate of your mouth, as if you are about to add a "G" to the end, but then cut that part off before you say it. Try to say "toang" but end it quickly before fully pronouncing the "G".
