Exhaust and midpipe adds 10-15 hp my ass. Not on a turbo car it doesn't. The biggest restriction on a turbo car is on the exhaust side. If you start changing exhaust pieces it impacts the turbos significantly. If you don't believe that look at the GT570 kit. It is all exhaust pieces and the GTR makes 550-600 awhp with that kit. Don't attempt to downplay the mods.

@Marc99GT yea just open up the exhaust will add at least 20-30hp... that kit does have aftermarket bov, intercooler piping, wastegates, exhaust, and looks like a boost controller.... so its not just the exhaust giving it all that extra power

the GTR is a freak. that does seem fast for it to be stock, but stock GTR's also out run Porsche 997 TT's to 180mph too and they are also lighter than the GTR.

he starts @ 0:25 and he reaches 300kph/190mph @ 1:34 which means the GT-R did need 69 seconds from 0-300. he wasn´t at full throttle @ 1:17-1:27 due to the curve so 69´s minus 10 seconds (during the curve) = 59 seconds from 0-300

nissan claims the GT-R is capable of doing this run in 53.5 seconds under perfect conditions (no wind, mild temp etc)

in this case it´s simply impossible a stock GTR can reach 300 in 38´s

after 200kph the acceleration´s dead due to weight issues. even NISSAN claims the GT-R is not able to reach 300kph in less than 53.5 seconds since the car is not light at all (about 1730Kg.)

also the GTR is ONE ugly car. it looks like a mixture between a pumped up Ford Puma and a nissan maxima. sorry bro but the GTR fails in every case. even with any technology disallowing the driver to do anything on his own it´s crap.

What weight? The weight of the car? The aerodynamic drag increases with the square of the speed. The faster you go, the smaller the effect of the weight of the car becomes. I don't see how it could be more relevant at 200+ kph than at lower speeds.
