Strangely enough I found White Noise to be their least awesome album (still good, but not earth shattering) but TEIJTBR is definitely awesome!!

I seriously wish they'd play Tabletop Show live though!! :'(

@keithbontrager Just why ? It's not the best on the album but it's still great, nice riffs, typical TLE solo etc... The Living End can't do bad songs :o

@zeLudoo They way guitar sounds (except the solo), the way the drums are played (which ultimately affects how they sound), most of the vocal sections.

It's like ACDC meets the Oils and U2 - plus dome disco. Check out the end lick on ACDC's "Who made Who" (about 03:15). Love the cheeky guitar fills on rotary speaker panned to left on the album version during the verse of this song. Album has been exclusive in the work ute for 3 weeks now.

Don't hate me for this I still love TLE but there was something special about them when they were still a 3 piece band, the energy they made with just the 3 of them was epic but now with this second guitarist, it doesn't have that special feeling anymore and sadly if you look at the ending of for example White Noise (also from this gig) Chris and the second dude are sharing the outro (previously Chris played the 2 parts together which was more awesome). I still love TLE though ;)

@Esparoba1 I think, and hope, that they take the second guitarist only for this show because it was broadcast live and this was kinda like a promotion of the new record, so they wanted to play new songs with all the arrangements and a back-up guitar during solos.

@metallicarocks6 The album "White Noise" is quite like the new album. "State of Emergency" is them playing their old root but at the top of the game! Those two albums defintely.

It's excactly the same type of material, people said 'White Noise' WASN'T The Living End but they are wrong I found White Noise to be awesome
