  • Awesome....Thanks Karen. Bless your kind heart for sharing this. I tried to look up everywhere on how to reknit holes in knitwear....no one wants to pass on the skill. I did find alot on sewing over the hole and patching. But what really works for me is reknitting. Can I do this with very fine gauge knitwear in plain colours? Can you also show how to repair a snag that runs both sides of the hole?

  • @SuperModerngranny You can create a new stitch by following the path of your knitted stitches, so you can create a knitted stitch by recreating it the way Kerin shows in the video, but not reknitting it with knitting needles. This works really well and can be used on not just socks, but everything from sweaters to mittens and hats. Hope that helps a bit!
