Ah, the memories... I have a 94 burban that shortly after buying it the exhaust rotted off. I bought Gibbson stainless headers and an after market y-pipe and left it like that for a couple of months till my friend made a custom 3' dual cat-back system for me. There was no such thing as a conversation within 15 feet of the truck. Music to my ears, lol....

Removing the exhaust after the headers causes the engine to idol rough... do you think it has anything to do with vacuum loss at the carb or intake manifold?

Be careful with those front axle lift blocks... using them on a steer axle is usually a "no-no", too much axle wrap between torque and braking weight transfer. I've seen several come loose on folks, and it can get ugly. That's why you only see them sold as "rear lift blocks". You should think about having them welded in on the axle saddles if you're going to keep them.

Yeah mine sounded like that for about a week till I got pulled over lol Mine wasnt 4 wheel. 2x4 went threw enough I didnt need 4x4 lol. I got a big old 1987 Chevy G20 van now I thought suburban was a tank LMAO My vans got a Cat back on it. Well my own cat back I cant see paying $200 for a straight pipe mine cosed me $12 with clamps lol. Sound good.

You dont need to lift those to fit atleast 31x10.50s never tried any size bigger with out lift.
