  • NO, shacking-up with him is not the answer.

Move further out of town, or go on the game !

  • dude, take a hint :)

  • @niakamam

Yes, you're right; shacking-up with him is not the answer.

Move further out of town, or go on the game !

  • I was like Harel don't say it, don't say it, it's too soon.

  • goodness amir was not getting the hints at all. oh well. :)

  • Is it me ore is Harel just whaitning for Amir to ask him to movie in with him...

  • " A bit of make-up and girlfriend, you're totally 15"

um.... best line ever!!!!!!! now i have wierd images of Harel in 15yr old drag...lol

  • what's wrong with his bf

  • only tel-aviv gays can be so numb.

  • I wouldn't know, I haven't been everywhere and checked with every gay man, y'know?

  • stupid he wants u to ask him to move in ! *shakes head*

  • Some men aren't very perceptive, are they? It's okay, he gets it eventually. ;)

  • His boyfriend is one insensitive bloke. ROFL.

  • Yep. It happens to the best of 'em... *pets Amir*

  • How did you got this TV show

    What place have selling

    theDVD with Language Subbed

  • To the best of my knowledge, it's not sold on DVD anywhere, not in Israel and certainly not abroad with English subtitles. The AVI files I used here I got from a friend.

  • About this clip: OMG-poor guy-his bf is so clueless!

  • *chuckles* It happens. But at least he's a well meaning clueless boyfriend...

  • Oh I'm stupid! I got my years mixed up with when I visited the USA.

    Correction:

"First trip in 1993 to Tel Aviv, Haifa, Jerusalem etc, then the Kibbutz (Gal'On) in the summer of 1995 for 3 months (the year Itzhak Rabin got shot)."

    The rest is correct.

All visist were exceptional, but it was the Kibbutz the most interesting and adventurous and the visit back in 1995 (people actually recognized me and were happy to see me again.. which couldn't been said about other volunteers..).

  • Were you here when Rabin was shot? 13 years, can't believe it's been that long ago. I still remember it so vividly.

Oh, that's great! The kibbutz really gives you a taste of the Israeli experience. And that is SO cool that you stood out to the people there. They're considered the salt of the earth here, so when they love you, that speaks volumes.

I do hope you come back soon! I live in Jerusalem and I believe there are more good things to come, now that we've elected a secular mayor! ;)

  • No, I wasn't there. He was shot in November and I was in Israel in the summer.. But it's weird to know that it happened in a place I visited just a few months earlier..

I was even invited into one of the Kibbutznik homes and the lady looking after us volunteers said that that doesn't happen very often. With all the volunteers coming and going and some being there for leisure, rather than work (which is really not that demanding) made them be very sceptic about volunteers - understandably.

  • You live in Jerusalem, but why does it say 'Bosnia and Herzegovina' in your bio then? ;o)

  • It's weird for me to think that it happened, period. :( I'm a bit naive in that sense, I guess.

Of course they would be (even city folk know how most volunteers just consider it a vacation), so I fully understand how much they must have appreciated you and think that's great! I'm sure they would love to see you again...

Because when I opened my account, I didn't plan on uploading, just wanted to comment. So I selected randomly and never looked at it again. I should probably change it now.

  • Yes yes, I have been on a first trip in '88 to Tel Aviv, Haifa, Jerusalem etc, then I stayed in a Kibbutz (Gal'On) in 1994 for 3 months. In 1998 I travelled around Israel for a month (and went on a courtesy visit back to Gal'On) and in 2004 I went on a business trip of 4 days to Jerusalem.

Thanks for the hint to your vids, but I think I kind of got the alphabet, but I'm severely out of practice. I can read this though of course: אמיר והראל ! ;o)

  • Sounds like you've really gotten the full Israeli experience to me. Cool! ;) Where/when did you enjoy yourself the most?

Which is the most essential part, obviously! ;D

  • Oh great for uploading this matan4il!! Great stuff. Todah!

  • It's entirely my pleasure and bless you for thanking me in Hebrew! :D Bevakasha!!!

  • Thanks. I tried to learn Hebrew once but did not get very far.. Find it a very sexy language :o) and I have been to Israel 4 times, so far.

  • Seriously? Where have you been to? :D And, well, I don't know if it'll help, but you can check out my vids showing how to write Hebrew letters (the first 4 I posted). I made them as part of a Hebrew online tutoring project... Makes me happy, hearing that there are people who find Hebrew sexy. ;)

  • i'm kinda confused.. when harel says, "i'm gonna have to leave this flat" does he mean his own, or amir's? cause the clip begins at amir's place but harel doesn't live there currently

  • Hey, somerandomguy87, Harel definitely means his own place, even though the scene takes place at Amir's. :)

  • ooh ok thanks for the clip!

  • Nothing for, glad you I can help! :)

  • Hey thanks for the new upload I would not mine Harel moving in with me those eyes, that face damm He is FREANKIN HOT why usa don't have guyz like him hey i can understand why Amir does not want or even suggested he is getting used to being out in a way. And maybe does not want him to move in to mess up what they got.

  • My pleasure, mondo3739. :) *lol* I can't argue with you when it comes to Offer Shechter's hotness.

I think Amir's not responding to Harel's subtle suggestion is meant to leave us guessing for the time being, so we'll just have to wait and see what happens next... ;p

  • Good Point. But I would have to be on the defense side .If you got a good thing don't jump the gun an mess it up.

  • Oooh, maybe we could do a poll over at the gays of daytime forum and see what people think Harel and Amir should do. I'm kinda curious, but if I had to guess, I would say that most would probably express the same POV that you have.

  • Good Idea,I think that would be cool to see.

  • ...You know that now I have to do it, right? Right? Damnit. ;p

  • yup ,heheheh

  • Mean. ;p

Any chance you could do it? It's starting to look I may not have the time before the weekend...

  • Harel is free to stay in my place if he wants. FOC. Hehehe. TLC will be included. :) I think staying together does not signal anything bad. I mean Harel can get to know Amir a little bit more on Amir's daily habits etc and vice-versa. It's more or less knowing his potential partner more in-depth. Afterall, it doesn't mean the stay has to be permanent. Maybe a transitory one until Harel finds a new place. Who knows Amir and Harel may hit it better staying together? :)

  • *lol* Airwebreathe, I'm sure he'd love to stay with you. ;)

Like I said, I think part of how good or bad it is to move in together very much depends on the people involved. We'll have to wait and see how it all applies to Amir and Harel, but I agree with you that there is a positive potential.

  • oo yay :) number 7 lol x

aww i felt so sorry for him cause he was hoping he'd say ohh!! come live with me but yes i guess too soon

  • Ask and ye shall receive. ;)

Yeah, he's so bummed in this clip, it hurts me to see it. :(

  • yea :( but i don't know why but when gay men are upset i find them really cute!!! :)

  • Hee, maybe you're the mommy type and you just wanna cuddle Harel until he feels all better? ;)

  • lol aww :) ye i love hugs and hes like an adorable cherry so i'll keep hold :P

  • *lol* Just be sure not to pop him or anything. Amir might get upset. ;p

  • lol hey!! :)

    hehe i'll try lol

  • Do your best. ;p

  • lol ty :) and hehe ty for these little chats we have on ere x

  • Thank *you*. I'm having fun with 'em. ;D

  • :) lol right well since we've been talking alot now that i think your a girl right? x hope i'm right

    (girl ere too :) )

  • I figured out from your story about your friend. ;) Nope, not a girl, a dyke. ;p

  • soz i'm new to the word dyke but i'm sure what ever it is its a great person x

i'll support you always if your gay ok :) x and just to let you know i'm straight cause i could of been bi x :P you don't have to be bi or gay to support them right :) i'm debbie from qaf x lol (queer as folk) x

  • THis scene made my stomach flip. It's too soon to move in with each other. They've only been together for a couple months. Moving in too soon can ruin a relationship. Harel is such a romantic (which is sweet) But Amir is so clearly set in his ways. Harel really should move in with a friend.

  • True, moving in together too soon can be very bad for a relationship, but I think it also depends on the specific people involved (how ready they generally are for the whole living together thing).

I would agree with you, but you know, Ziona's place probably is uninhabitable... If anything, she should move in with Amir as well. Oooh, they could have a queer commune! ;D

  • You are so right. Amir just seems like somebody who's really INTO having everything be just so, you know. But it doesn't mean he couldn't change and grow right? It's such a hard situation. It's unclear if Amir is ignoring Harel's hints or is just so preoccupied that he doesn't get it. And yeah, without even seeing it, I'd imagine Ziona's place would hardly be conducive to studying or sleeping for that matter. I do really like her character tho and I like how she and Harel relate. Anticipation...

  • Yeah, I agree with the way you're reading this situation completely. It's so frustrating when writers leave us guessing like that, isn't it? I'm sensing a confrontation soon and then we'll know one way or another...

Supposedly, Ziona's place is such a dump that it's not (and never will be) shown. There are only references to it, like "so have you finally got running water over there?" and such. I love her character too! She's a fierce dyke and I'm kinda sorry she's just a fictional character.

  • Wow, is there trouble in paradise already with these two? Kissing boldly on the sidewalk to this? WTF? I must be missing something here. Harel could move in with Amir or doesn't he want to or doesn't Amir want him there all the time? Is there a scene missing on that point?

  • The only scene I've left out is the one where Ziona suggests Harel moves in with her. I figured the scene with Amir makes it pretty redundant plot-wise. However, since Amir and Harel aren't featured in every single episode, we are supposed to infer that some time has passed. All other conclusions are yours to arrive at. :)

  • Ya!! New clip. Thanks yet again! It's interesting the writers came up with this storyline. A move to make them live together. But it seems like Amir is too used to living alone and he doesn't even think that he can actually accommodate Harel. And it's like the writers purposely wrote Harel's friends are willing to let him stay with them to make the contrast looks obvious. Amir, u better wake up and take the hints that Harel is giving. Can't wait for the next clip! :)

  • My absolute pleasure. :D And I agree, the friends jumping up to offer their places as temporary solutions enhances the one offer that wasn't made. I can't wait for it either! ;)

  • Thank you so much for this!!

    Have a nice day!!

  • Happy to do it! :) Have a wonderful day as well!
