The executed scum was caught next to the grave of seven family members of national police officers. Although they didnt catch him in the act of murder, i highly doubt this VC was there just chillin out, not having anything to do with it.
What most people don't know is why this execution happened - the victim was responsible for the murder of one of the General's officers along with his entire family. I can't say what was done was right, but I also can't say most people would do differently in similar circumstances. Ironically, the man who pulled the trigger was always considered a hero to the people of his country whereas the man who died was considered a terrorist who deserved what he got.
@bctvanw It always amuses me that leftists will harp on this incident, taking Loan's actions out of context and ignoring the actions of the man being executed. They cry and bleat and whine about how this is some sort of atrocity. And yet these same leftists have not a bad word to say about the Cultural Revolution, they deny the Holodomar, they never cry for the victims of Che at La Cabana, they justify the Red Brigades and the Weathermen as heroes. Leftists have no moral right to cry over this.
I think youre not talking about me? since Im not 1 of the leftists. Overall, I think it's better for the US to control the world instead of the commis; however, we cannot also deny that a lot of people are also killed in name of "freedom". USA shipped KMT to TW and let TW be under dictatorship until late 1980s. KMT did similar sorts of things like what is in the video. It's not about left or right wings... They just used the reasons to get rid of ppl challenging their power.
I believe the person in the video should be tried and be executed because of what he did. However, not in this way. In this case, we know that the person executed did something wrong, but how about other cases? Mistakes can happen. Can we just shoot them right on the street? That doesn't really help. Viet comms might do a lot of bad things, which doesn't justify other bad things done by the other side. In fact, I cry over events all you have mentioned.

Ngoc killed this man because he killed/used his sister for whatever bad reason. This General killed this Vietcong man for a good reason, its just that no-one in the world knew why...
@AirsoftReviewerMan It was wartime, the second day of the Tet offensive. Summary execution of spies and saboteurs is not too far outside the laws of war. If Nguyen didn't want to be summarily executed, he shouldn't have betrayed his own people.

It's like what KMT did in Shanghai before they were driven out of China and escaped to Taiwan.
