Dhalsim is my main and it's been a tough uphill climb. It's a given that you will give up easy rounds by just getting stuck in a corner and missing a teleport. The biggest issue is the guessing right for a dragon punch etc and the game autocorrects.

Nope, Ken and Ryu are probably THE easiest characters to master. Their regular moves are largely very intuitive, and their specials are easy to execute and it's quite easy to see what to use them for.

Now sure, alot of people just scrub it up with the shoto's without any real skill. (In fact most shoto players do.) But the shoto's easily have the easiest learning curve.

Dan actually IS harder to master BECAUSE he's a joke.

counter hits have different properties. That fierce shoryu was counter hit which allowed him to juggle into ultra. Notice how dhalsim jumps higher from that counter hit rather than a regular fierce uppercut

you can tell it connects if your punch hits them, if not then it's straight to the shinryuken. If your wondering how he got to even pull off an ultra, you can cancel your moves at the cost of 2 EX bars. not sure how you do it cuz i dont own sf4.

if u cancel any move it takes one bar, in the video he used EX dragon punch then canceled it, that's why it took to bars, but even after i did the EX DP i couldn't connect the ultra, it always went straight to shinryuken.

the dhalism character is slow to im pretty sure the guy who used dhalism went for some type of attack and the ken user hit the dragon punch before any animation was shown. So the ken user either anticipated the attack or just got lucky but either way it was awesome

That's because he did SRK FADC Ultra. It's not easy to get right- basically you do shoryuken, before he leaves the ground FADC forward then ultra

The key moves were on 2:52 to 2:58. Ken was on his way to win using the same strategy from the first round, but that Teleport left him defenseless. Then, the Ultra juggled perfectly right after the kick from Ken. HATS OFF TO DHALSIM!

shoryuken > cancel it with a focus attack > cancel the focus with a foward dash > ultra, I don't know how strict the timing is, I usually don't use the bastard.

Cancelling a special move with a focus attack cost 2 quarters of your super bar.
