There is a fine line between Gothic Metal and pop music... but I do have to say I continue to enjoy this album. The production value for this video only is enough to convince me that Unsun has potential. However, the one downfall of the album so far is the lack of creative guitar riffs. Perhaps, people who listen to this music are more interested in the vocals than the guitars. As a guitar player myself, I want better riffs. I look forward to future Unsun albums.

@MetalFalloutTV I agree, the guitarist could have come up with something a bit more creative, but at the same time you don't want the guitar to overpower vocals. I play guitar, but I also mix my own tracks and find sometime when the guitar riffs are to energetic its almost impossible to find a balance between vocals and guitars.

@MetalFalloutTV If they wanted to have one guitar riff after another they would have put that up front as what drives the song. They are doing vocal riffs and lettting the vocals be more out front. And please don't call it pop. There is nothing pop about the music. Just because it does not sound like Death, Black or Thrash metal does not make something pop. As for the band it falls more into symphonic metal and the whole of the genre takes more ideas from power and prog metal.

@Epica124 technically speaking it is goth metal, with A LOT of steam punk over tones (at least in this song) which tends to take a hand with black metal in kind of flowing to the darker parts of the human psych. and anyone who thinks this is pop needs to be shot.
