In a sense it makes the song seem more realistic, because... the title of the song is 'Cafe Latte', right? So the intro sound of chatting people and clattering plates, as well as the acoustic guitar makes it seem more that it's as if it was sung in a cafe. It would've been better, though if the sound of the clattering plates and chatting people was made consistent throughout the song--in the background, of course. Just my 2 cents. :)
