  • She saw a dementor!

  • omg, she saw a dementor!

  • When she NORMALLY see's ghost?

  • haha i know, thats what i was thinking!

i think someone might need to visit the doctor

  • Hey "He Licks The Thinker", Sasquach's ape-like brain does more thinking than your conditionally constipating, cavernous cranium. Would you mind giving that phenomenally furred, thick headed thinker a lick or two?

Exactly how are the tobacco industry's political issues relevant to I.D. scientists? Also, ID scientists have never researched Amityville house because the ardently non Christian "Parapsychologists" would certainly unjustly expel them from the field

Gee, it's too bad that people

  • Hi Chui. First of all, there's nothing wrong with licking smart people.

The parody of a tobacco lab shown in this video is parallel to what I.D. scientists. It's fake science. For example, you can prove that smoke doesn't harm small animals...as long as they wear gas masks. But when presenting the report, they leave out the fact that the animals were wearing gas masks.

Tobacco and I.D. are out to prove points which are untrue. There, I spelled it out for you.

  • It's no wonder you guys believe the evo liars so easily, your analogical reasoning and other thought processes are out to lunch. There is no correlative analogy between I.D. and the tobacco industry simply because you say there is. The only thing you've done in your video and in your reply is to say its true, simply because you believe its true. Have you ever heard of supported facts? Seems not! It's the reason why you believe it when they show you a 4 legged dog like fossil and say its a whale?

  • The parallel between ID and the tobacco research labs is that both of them are trying to prove a point which is simply not true. They're fake research labs, and even the people working for the ID movement or the tobacco industry know it.

  • You just don't get it do you? Even after I just spelled it out for you in the last reply, you still don't get it. It's not as if it were a quagmire of rocket science. Once again you said - "ID is trying to prove a point which is simply not true". The part that seems too complicated for your simple mind to understand is that such a claim is not automatically a fact simply because you say it is. Simply the fact that you don't present any argument at all, is in itself evidential of you being wrong.

  • There are plenty of other videos to present arguments...but since hardcore creationists and ID advocates never listen, it's just more fun to make tun of them. Why so serious?

Also, your argument which boils down to "you don't present an argument, therefore evolution is wrong" is retarded.

  • @Chuichupachichi please, take your own advice and actually show evidence instead of just asserting things as fact, give ONE peice of evidence, you have NONE

  • who are so godless, like an atheist, that they think so little of the Holy Book that they would abusively use it to exploit the innocence of good people for their own materialist-like materialistic, greedy purposes. Their selfishly driven deceptiveness is enough to remind one of ludicrous missing links. Such as Piltdown, Pigs Tooth, Nebraska, Java, etc..... drawn embryos, hand made in China dino-bird, Dremel Moto Pelvic-Grind Lucy, etc..Just think of all the, far more than a single congregation,

  • of US taxpayers that have been, and still are, getting ripped off just so evo-criminals can propagate their fairy monkey-tale in public schools. In addition to the leftist, liberal, atheist, condom on cucumber, controlled public school's victimized student children that have been progressively dummied down to highly illiterate levels of devolved, unintelligent, ape-like creatures. The kind that in their severe delusions, they think that they're thinkers. Good thing there are still plenty of

  • communities & villages throughout Africa that when asked, they say its the American Christian missionaries whom have helped them the most of anybody in the world. Certainly, it's those kind of truly good people who must fund the "ONE" ID lab in the whole world. Indeed, since it was the highly corrupt ACLU whom after arguing in a Federal court that Americans have the constitutional right to have sex with children. They then provided all the necessary puppet judge corruption for the Dover trial

  • Chuichupachichi: Speaking about communities and villages....didn't the pope condemn condoms in AIDS infected African villages JUST LAST WEEK? It's a fine example of how religious dogma kills people.

  • You've heard the saying that "truth is stranger than fiction", haven't you? Indeed it is! The perceptions you have are the same as those of most of the worlds inhabitants. But what a shocking surprise is the actual truth, isn't it? Just when you thought you had me cornered with a supposedly kick'n argument. Low and behold, the actual truth is that those whom you thought to be on the opposing side, in fact, have more things in common with you than you've ever suspected. Say hi to your Papa 4 me

  • What are you telling me for? The evolutionist Pope is on "your" team. You ever see the big fish hat he wears? Yea well, its just that he, unlike you, does know of his Sumerian Evolutionary religious beliefs.

You better believe it, believer boy, both his fish hat "and" evolution originated with the Sumerians.

(It's a fine example of how religious dogma kills people)

You got that right! The inquisitive Popes were responsible for 50 million Christian deaths. Now you see why you're teammates!

  • The majority of the work being done in Africa by missionaries is nothing more than a front to get converts.

  • the odds of it forming by chance

    PrometheusWithLight

Forming? Like molding itself into something real with bones and skin and digestive and respratory... Do you realize this just doesn't happen anywhere on this planet? EVER? Something should be enlightening us whith observable evidence. a set of bones springs to life whole or dead ,there is no in between- period. try friend, skin something, it should be ok. pull out an organ drain it's blood. Nope sorry. all Power/resource required before life

  • While there is no way to measure the probability of chance occurrence of something as complex as the eye, there are ways to calculate the probability of the chance occurrence of individual protein molecules that are essential to life. Over a thousand different kinds of proteins have been identified in the human body, and each has a unique chemical composition necessary for its own particular function.

This is but a penguins scratch on the iceberg.

    Masterful genius power deliberateness? nah

  • Odds of a dna sequence arising by chance: 1/4^x

Odds of a dna sequence arising by chance WITH SELECTION: x!/4^x

where x is the length of the sequence.

As the length of the sequence increases, the odds of it forming by chance with selection increase exponentially, as opposed to chance alone, which drops to zero.

Go on, plot it on a graph.

  • "While today's digital hardware is extremely impressive, it is clear that the human retina's real-time performance goes unchallenged. To simulate 10 milliseconds of the complete processing of a single nerve cell from the retina, requires about 500 simultaneous nonlinear differential equations 100 times. This takes several minutes processing time on a Cray supercomputer. there are 10 million or more cells interacting in complex ways, That takes 100 years of Cray time to simulate an eyes 1 sec.

  • No, that's what it would take for Cray to simulate the neurological signals from the eye to the brain. That's because the signal system is really complicated, which in turn is due to the complexity of the brain. (Note: This is NOT a single nerve cell. A single nerve cell has two states, on or off.)

The digital equivalent: slow time cameras can have pretty good resolution, certainly enough to rival the human eye, and can spot a bullet in mid flight. Let's see your eye do that!

  • lederereddy, comparing digital hardware with neurons is an apples to oranges comparison. It may take 100 years of Cray time to simulate a human eye for 1 second....but it would almost certainly take a billion years of human time to simulate 1 second of Cray time. That is why your argument is flawed.

  • Saying "god did it" is foolishness. There are indeed many variables, but if you just spout "goddiddit" whenever they come your way, you'll never learn about any of them. Willful ignorance is NOT wisdom. Natural selection is not a "healing process," it's simply a mechanism by which nature can filter good mutations from bad. It doesn't HAVE to be a creator; it's simply one part of the process that has resulted in the great variety of life.

  • Saying "god did it" is foolishness?

This make a person stupid some how? Or just rational? It's not mm... A bit crazy to assume "nothing happened that can't be explained by the creative genius of an amoeba"???

not a "healing process," it's simply a mechanism by which nature can filter good mutations from bad.

You just contradicted yourself... How smart is it making you?

  • It is a bit crazy to assume nothing happened that can't be explained by a deity. (Besides, listing the amoeba as proof would be circular reasoning anyway.)

Selection really isn't a healing process. If it were a healing process, creatures would be healed of bad mutations.

    This is not the case.

    Creatures with bad mutations die.

  • See, the problem is, you assume evolution is pure chance. It's not. Sure, mutation is chance, but it's regulated by selection. All bad mutations are deleted, leaving only the good and neutral mutations. Since having all senses located on the head makes it easier to focus on a particular object, creatures with said configuration live longer than creatures in different configurations, so mutations that move the senses together are selected for. It's not chance, it's evolution.

  • selection can form ear drums, eyeballs, respiratory, nervous, brain, spinal, skeletal, every necessary organ, arms, legs, heads etc. all in one day? or were we little blobs scooting along for millions of years until selection got... Creative? and decided to make us into little gods?

  • No, I believe it's the YECs who say that all happened in a day. That stuff would take millions of years to form, millions of years of mutations being filtered by selection.

  • By asking "who has the power to create the universe," you commit a formal logical fallacy, called "begging the question." Indeed, just asking the question requires you first assume that the universe not only had a temporal beginning, but was created by a previously extant being. It needn't be.

In fact, because time is a part of the universe, it's impossible for the universe to have a cause, as no being or action can predate time. It's just logically contradictory.

  • 1. Those laws are just traits that we've observed. Some of the laws don't even hold up all of the time, particularly at the quantum level.

What happens if gravity shifts? What about the tilt of the earth? cosmological constant " we would expect a cosmological constant of the order of As noted above, the measured cosmological constant is smaller than this by a factor of 10120. This discrepancy has been termed "the worst theoretical prediction in the history of physics" God...a big step ahead

  • If gravity shifts: By how much?

If the tilt of the earth shifts: It depends. How far, how fast? You realize the tilt of the earth DOES shift, right?

Assessment of the cosmological constant: that gets really complicated. Whatever the explanation is discovered to be, saying "goddidit" in the meantime is a logically invalid claim. "Ahead" is relative; claiming god did it is a step in the wrong direction.

  • f gravity shifts: By how much?

on the scale its sitting on.... practically? Less than we can measure with absolute certainty, either way. I say that because they are giving me numbers so phenomenal, I think they are guessing themselves. Could that be? scientist who don't know exactly?... Saying God did it is wisdom my friend. There are many more variables. Natural selection is part (single function) of the healing process, not the creator of all. God bless!

  • If gravity shifted up a little, there would be no significant change. If it shifted down a little, again, no significant change. You realize that gravity has little to no impact at the quantum level, right?

It's a moot point anyway. Before you can speculate on gravity changing, you have to ask yourself, CAN it change? Is it even possible? Until you can show that the gravitational constant COULD ACTUALLY BE DIFFERENT, your point is moot.

  • If gravity shifted up a little, there would be no significant change.. You had better take a physics refresher course? Quantum level only baffles the minds it's not an escape route to twist the other direction.

I think the idea that The Lord had in mind is there is much to be learned but He is never going to be out done... If were wise, we will have an eternity to challenge Him in. Love your non threatening attitude, Big Aloha to you friend. Someone Bless You today!

  • Quantum level is what you have to deal with for the big bang, the origin of the universe. If we're NOT looking at the quantum level, if gravity increased by 1%, stars would be the tiniest bit smaller, and we'd all be a couple of pounds heavier.

Yep. Extinction of life as we know it, right?

If it went up by as much as 100%, life would still be quite possible.

If you're going to learn anything, you can't chase away the knowledge with a "goddidit."

  • would expect the of the order of (M 4 over pl-) didn't print.

Dude this is just the begining of your troubles. Nothing like a universe to shout so loud!!! Those fingers dug in your ears so deep that you can't hear a word. Random my ass... Is that the conclusion you get when you here the data? Wow look at all these coinky dinkies damn there every where in science. Look we just happen to have two eyes brows lashes nose ears mouth that speaks and they face in the same way as are feet and hands!!!

  • 1. QM predicts a higher cosmological constant than is actually observed. That doesn't mean "god did it." It just means we don't fully understand it yet; no shame there.

    2. WE have two eyes. Flies have hundreds. We have a nose, and a mouth, which many life forms lack. We can speak, but speaking is irrelevant, as we could communicate via sign language. The sensory equipment is all located in one spot because it's an efficient configuration; it allows multiple senses to be used at once.

  • What are you doing with this type of rational? Hoping that God doesn't notice your sin because look at how bad someone else's is?

  • I just like getting funny responses from fundies like you. The academy of tobacco studies in this video is extremely similar to how the Discovery Institute operates.

Tobacco smoke has no effect on rats....if you put gas masks on the rats. Just be sure not to tell anyone about the gas masks! The girl who sees ghosts represents the entire support base for ID. I'll leave you to figure out the last part on your own.

  • Are you implying the evolutionists are free of such atrocities? People made mistakes like lying and covering up evidence which created a beautiful smoke screen to hide behind for evolution. The point that the discovery institute was trying to make is how that both are valid arguments, and kids should know there is physical evidence left in biological structures that can be attributed to intelligence and it is not only there in the cell, but depicts an intelligence of supreme proportions.

  • That's the problem though. Virtually all of DI's arguments for ID are purely philosophical and religious...not scientific. The only piece of 'physical evidence' they tried to bring forward was the bacterial flagellum, and even that was debunked pretty quickly. Their argument was quite literally, 'we don't know how the bacterial flagellum could have evolved, therefore it could not have evolved, therefore it was intelligently designed.'

It's a logical fallacy every step of the way.

  • There is no physical evidence left in biological structures that can be attributed to intelligence. At the very least, none that has been presented to anyone, anywhere. If you think I'm wrong, give me an example of this evidence.

  • Prometheus?WithLight? turn it on!

Huh? Why can't it be reproduced with as much intelligence or should I say as many marbles rolling around in the minds of the supposedly genius mind of scientist today and they cant even make a flower or a cricket. The power it takes to generate a whole universe literally flood the earth with wildlife and you have the nerve to say "Duh... Can't see as it took any intelligence to put this together..." Gee George me neither! Are we monkey's George? yep, must be!

  • 1. Why would you ever assume the universe was "generated?"

    2. Nature can't whip a flower up from nothing either. It takes billions of years of evolution to go from chemicals to flowers.

    3. Appeal to incredulity

    4. We're not monkeys, we're apes. There's a difference.

Never you mind. A guy got to sometimes.

  • 1. because it is governed by laws.

2 Nature isn't whipping up anything, ever.

    3. Yes, you have a vivid imagination.

    4. we are neither. We transcend every animal. Including apes. You might be better off saying that ET laid the first humans here.

The correct question to ask is who has the power it took to make all of this from nothing, Whoever that is, lives outside of material, time, space and has a very long reach. I.E.God.

  • 1. Those laws are just traits that we've observed. Some of the laws don't even hold up all of the time, particularly at the quantum level.

    2. Nature just whipped up a bacteria capable of digesting nylon. This ability was caused by frameshifting from a single insertion mutation.

    3. Said the guy what things an invisible skydaddy poofed the universe into existance, fully formed.

    4. We're apes. Check the DNA.

I was counter-quoting from of mice and men. Way to go.

  • Religion is the biggest scam on earth.

  • What does this post have to do with the bureaucracy that is religion?

  • what was she on

  • "The feelings that I got from it was not something that I get when I normally see a ghost"

Uhhhh... how often do you see ghosts?

  • Oh, you just have to open your mind and believe you can see ghosts, then they're everywhere. :D

  • Thanks, mate, but I'm not really into self-induced hallucination ^_^.
