I don't agree with the documentary: I read Koran and don't think at all it is out there to spread peace, there are many ways to read Koran but I could never truly find a message of just love and peace, a message of hatred and violence is easy to find though (nothing is imposible but love and peace combined with Koran? Whereas Christianity claims there is one God but at the same time, other creations are given a status equal to that of God, in effect setting up partners with God.
Actually, both Islam and Christianity are monotheistic. Islam holds a unitarian perspective on the structure of God, where Christianity holds to a trinitarian structure, where God is one being with 3 centers of consciousness, all three possessing the fullness of God simultaneously while being able to be separate...each is God, each participated in the creation of the universe, each containing the entirety of the being-ness of God.

The Koran may state generalizations such as "do good, don't do bad," but how these concepts are defined is what's more important. It seems to me that in the vast majority of cases it can be seen as good in Islam to do things which our secular or Christian society considers atrocious. Therefore, none of the general statements about being good and righteous are important whatsoever in arguing that Islam is a peaceful religion.

This Sura was revealed after the Conquest of Baca. Being the first house built for the worship of one true God by Abraham,(peace be upon him) had to be prevented from access by idolaters.
And the part that talks about fighting the disbelievers until they pay Jizya - In simple words Sovereignty belongs to God alone! therefore the only constitution that can bring complete peace on earth is God's law. You are allowed to bring your bible and other religious items as long as they are your personal property.
Do not bring items intending to distribute them. Do not attempt to "convert" anyone away from Islam.

The Quran may be a religious text, but, unlike the NT and OT, it's not a good source of ancient historical infomation. Abraham never travelled to Arabia, nor was there any reference to "Ibrahim" in pre-Quranic writings or carvings. This assertion is one that needs to be accepted by faith, and faith alone.
This Christian could have been put in jail for giving away his Bible in Saudi Arabia. The US, however, gives tax-free status to religious organizations. Am I missing something, here?

If you do a comparative studies between Islam and Christianity from the point of view of concept of God alone, you will find that while in Islam the concept of "One and Only God without partners" is uncompromisable and without exception. Whereas Christianity claims there is one God but at the same time, other creations are given a status equal to that of God, in effect setting up partners with God.

Islam holds a unitarian perspective on the structure of God, where Christianity holds to a trinitarian structure, where God is one being with 3 centers of consciousness, all three possessing the fullness of God simultaneously while being able to be separate...each is God, each participated in the creation of the universe, each containing the entirety of the being-ness of God.
There are no partners in Christianity...the trinity is God!

Like the exact word form "tawhid" does not appear in the Quran, the word "trinity" does not appear in the NT. Equally, the exact verbiage that you want does not appear in the NT or OT.
However, God the Son, Jesus Christ, does tell us about the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in Matthew 28:19. So, Jesus was aware of His deity throughout His life on this planet, and defined His structure in this verse, and others as well.

The context of Matthew 28:19 states something different. Read from verse 16 to the end of the chapter...will make this plain.
Additionally, many other verses elucidate the Trinity in detail.
