Also alot may change between now and the general election, Brown might be re elected. The alternatives are hardly much better. We also need to think about the long term defense of this United Kingdom.

With a Scottish referendum on breaking up this union in 2010, i would rather a Scottish prime minister running this country at the time than a conservative government which currently has only ONE Scottish MP.
