  • Lovely song but the rock completely destroys the beautiful image put into my head...

  • scots can rock too/or nahootoo.

  • love the picture , and music :)

  • Is the distorted guitar part, part of the original composition? Or added by a listener?

  • @Andro1 it was in the original, people mix it out, which in my opinion ruins it. he didnt write it to have parts of it removed

  • @639653263626 he would have had to give permission for its use, which means he consented to having it altered

  • I listened dubstep version by rameses b..... fucking beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I just want to know how to play it on Guitar, yet I cant seem to find a single tab in the whole fucking world. -_-

  • @cargin360 ill have a go at it and if i do it ill write it up and post it

  • @cargin360 Use your ears and work it out

  • this is the highest proportion of likes to dislikes ive ever seen on a video with over 30,000 views!

  • Am I the only person that likes the speaking but hates the guitar solo ?

  • Thumbs up for goosebumps!

  • I don't mind the guitar section at all - if nothing else, it makes the bit afterwards seem even more incredible. I really wish all the voices were removed, though. And, my god, do I wish the Visit Scotland advert version would be recorded in full and released to public.

  • Ah, I've been trying to find this for forever; thanks for uploading! =D

  • I can't be the only person to hear this & like the part where it gets all metal, can I? It's ALL good, folks <3

Also, lyrics plzkthnx, just so I can understand what's being said during this beautiful piece CB

  • open new tab go to youtube search Nature's Lullaby: Relaxation Sounds - Rain, Thunder, Lightening Listen with this song!!

  • @DjShane1995 You are a genius! This makes the song so much more wonderful!

  • The music is great, the guitar adds to it, but almost completely kills the mood by being out of touch with the rest of the song. This song would also be better if there were no people talking over the track.

  • anyone know any other songs like this? preferably with only violins

  • I love the guitar part as it reminds me when I went to Wales; where I did zip-wire, rock climbing and the andrealin rush that came with it; moving fast; like if you were doing white water rafting :)

  • Respect from Italy......I discovered just today that musician ..... Many thanks ..... :)

  • @SuperAlchemilla No, thank you!

  • Respect from Italy......I discovered just today that musician ..... Many thanks ..... :)

  • This is one of my favorite versions of this music, and the pic aint horrid, its shows strength and power which is something ive personally always related to the Scottish people so much. Hmmmm a nice compliment to the Scottish people from an English woman i think. xxx

  • calm...

  • this is just lovely =)

  • WHY IS THIS NOT IN THE CHARTS???????

  • if there was no talking all the way through from that guy it would be better

  • music from heaven so peacefull in a world full of rage x

  • Paul Mounsey is unparalelly unique. Thanks for posting his music.

  • i like the song alot its gr8

  • this song is doin my head in cos my mum wont stop playin it

  • this would be even better with bagpipes as well...

  • @liamburge88 tthen it wouldnt be as peaceful :S

  • @denholm10 But it would make it more scottish, at least for "Visit Scotland". Not only that, is unfortunately I am not a fan of the part with the guitar part, I dunno...I can appreciate it, but i dont like it personally.

  • when the guitars come in. its SHIT

  • @denholm10 the guitars are awesome, but still i see were your comin from. (the violins sound amazing)

  • correct imaginary angel,

    great as classical

  • I am a MASSIVE rock and metal fan, but seriously the rock part in this, what the hell? It sounds really out of place next to the really beautiful music. It would be perfect as a classical piece of music;=).

  • @xIMAGINARYxANGELx is it some kind of drum machine or something? sounds more like it should be in like "trance" or something (not familiar with dance genres but you probably get what i mean) - But aye really out of place, otherwise a great song

  • @shoutout14 makes me sad why?

  • Its kinda boring without the guitar.... I find myself waiting for a bridge in the violins

  • Really like this music and surprisingly I like the actual voice over from the advert too "feel it, touch it..." etc... goes really well. Disappointed that Paul come in half way through with his friends and gatecrashes the place with his hard rock music... Not sure really that does anything other than lets me know the song is nearly over so I can hit the rewind button! Cheers for the upload Edwards3Carrots.

  • the stupid voices in the background real ruin it especially cos their on repeat

  • guitar or no guitar? I know

  • beautiful picture haunting music untill the violin stops there sould be all violin thanks for posting this :D x

  • iiLaiik This MuSiic :D!

  • listened while waiting in the car- really beautiful -my regards to dorina

  • Top stuff. Some people decry the guitar part, but it is an effective timbral and dynamic counterpoint to the arco strings. I think all textures are valid across all genres and eras of music- I like experimentation. Vivaldi should have played a Minimoog, and Mozart could have stormed Youtube with a Yamaha CS-80! The late Sir Adrian Boult conducting the LPO whilst accompanying on a pair of DJ decks, a metal dustbin and a petrol-driven angle grinder would be a Channel 4 special if I had my way!

  • Shame about the guitar solo!!!

  • Love the song. So glad its on the Visit Scotland ads, it makes me proud to be Scottish

  • Reminds me of mike oldfield and appocalyptica

  • Reminds me of mike oldfield

  • It's probably just me but everytime i see that advert it really makes me want to go and visit scotland simply because of this song(the violin extract that is anyway)

  • @Monefastar lol me 2

  • I think the bit from 0.27-1.58 is a brilliant song...but the rest ruins it!

  • This song has unreal bass!!!

  • i really like this song !!

  • i so wanna find a clean version of this, someone should maybe turn it into a classical piece would sound soooo much better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @lupiloo78 agreeeed !!! ^^

  • this song is very very emotional .it makes me to reflect on alot of things and to fly without wings...i swear it down dont need to came from scotland to appreciate it...i like the sensation it gives xxx

  • I'm from England but I like it hehe.

  • I love everything about this song..Even the 'rock shit' as everyone seems to be calling it :P

  • that violin sends chills down my spine , this song is amazing

  • the most beautiful song I have ever heared , and im not really into classical as im just a teen who also listens to the usual one hit wonder garbage thats out now.

  • Come on guys, Paul mounsey is an absolute musical genious. Regardless if you like the guitar or not, this song is a wor of art. I was once told by a teacher that art isnt wat you see or hear, its about the ideas it give you in your mind and the reactions rather than the work itself. And even in this case all aspects of this song got a reaction whether they were good or bad made you think, thus it has forfilled the purpose of an amazing peice of art. Also I like the guitar in the track.

  • @639653263626 Well said, sir.

  • @639653263626 Erm what? All pieces of 'art' will give a reaction. Be it plain boredom to un interest to joy etc. Using any of our senses to view art will result in a reaction. I think reaction is the wrong word to use.

  • I dunno, upon the fifth hearing, the guitar bit isn't quite so jarring...the song would be better without it i agree, but it's not so bad. I also thought the picture was quite pretty haha :D

  • iiLaaaaiik Dis MuSSaks! :D

  • forwared to Quinten Tarantino, hope you dont mind, hope he pays attention,,,for the remake of Othello as Othella...your music so fits...sublime and divine and yewow :-)

  • So bad the guitar part is such a disaster :'(

  • so this is where ride it has been coypied from

  • For those who don't like the guitar bit, check out my video.. I've cut it out! :D

    Thanks & enjoy!

  • this is off the visit scotland advert? or am i wrong? i always like the music... have to agree not sure bout the guitar

  • Fantastic track but I agree....the guitar is off the mark. :-(

  • what a masterpiece ( original one)....touches heart spot on ...

  • Wow....I appreciate a wide spectrum of "metal" and guitar music, but the guitaring in this song gets so close to spoiling the entire song, what a mood killer :-/

  • I agree. its good, but very very close to spoiling it

  • @donriko666 i agree, i think putting electric guitar in is a good idea and can be very moving but i don't think he implemented it very well, just completely missed the mark

  • what are the vocals classed at in this? choir..?

  • @BlackRose2222 its just a solo soprano singer

  • Looking on Paul Mounsey's site, it mentions he sampled some Inuit music but it does sound like soprano ...

  • great post, i wonder what the start bit is all about, the guitar is a mood shifter but its the "new age" music idea i guess

  • the guitar bit isn't so bad. i actually like it. it'd be better if the violin part was played over it though.

  • the shiitest n annoying bit is wen drums , this rock shit bit comes in...spoils the mood....

  • @we11c0me: Será?

  • @we11c0me

dont like it dont listen then

  • Comment removed

  • wish the song was played by violins only !

  • i agree!

i might have to do a cover/remix of this to see what it sounds like.

    :)

  • send it to me if you do so !!

  • Its the bit with the violins that really make it such an amazing song for me.

  • @Edwards3Carrots I aggree, it's so bloody good

  • love this thanks for posting! any chance you know where i can download the MP3?

    x

  • You can download basicly any song by googling it. Like this- 'Paul mounsey mp3 free download' :)

  • The picture is beautiful. The only thing that makes this video horrible is the huge sign saying "Please rate the music not the horrible video!"

  • I'll change the annotations, but you can remove the annotations by clicking the bottom right hand button. (: x

  • Ah, thanks!

  • the crappiest bit is on 34 secs when it sounds like some retard and goes through the whole of a great piece of music!

  • i love this song:)
