you should visit Mdina now, (2008), it is so much much MUCH better. All the street have been repaired, the gates restored(and even old buildings) and there is not a single wire overhead. It is now truly a Roman,Medieval, Renascences(or how it is spelt) and a Baroque City. Just Amazing.
