Vicki. i agree that the constitution says separation of church and state, but it also talks about a gov't for the people by the people. Laws are passed based on what the people believe as a whole, regardless of religious belief. And, as a true democracy, the people have spoken.
To the woman who said, "God didn't make man with man or woman with woman. He made man with woman." I say, again...The constitution clearly says, "Separation of church and state." That means your interpretation of the bible is irrelevant as is your opinion. H8 should have never been on the ballot. The LGBT community is a minority. We are outnumbered by the str8 homophobic community or of str8s who don't support the LGBT. They just don't understand that we are going to live our lives regardless.
