  • I love the sunburst with tortoise shell pickguard and black knobs & pickup covers look. I did the same to all my sunburst Strats too, many years ago. It's a look I've always liked from back in the mid to late 70's.

  • I have to say, I watched your video on how to set up a tremolo system and was even more impressed by your playing at the end! Anyway, that prompted me to check out your other vids, which landed me here. Fantastic playing...I can't even being to understand how or why this has half as many dislikes as likes.

Are you self-taught? Any tips for an aspiring, 17-year old blues guitarist? I've been playing for about two years.

    Great job, again!

  • Great job Farg, nice tones. You have a Stevie Ray Vaughan essence to your lead work, even Hendrix-like. Very smooth, but not without a bite in the right places. The gliding style is very cool, up and down the neck, and Low E to High E, very nice! Great job recording the sound too. When we do musical accompaniment to our videos, we go through our "Magic Box," Fractal Axe effects, it helps record with clarity, but your sound turned our perfectly. Fantastic!

  • @mccainisthroughX Thanks Mit! That's high praise and I really appreaciate it. That is my fender G Dec 30 amp set on black face 2 and the track comming straight off the computer speakers. IT was recorded with a sony handycam using the built in mike. Nothing fancy here, just alot of will to do it.

  • i hope you do a little more "noodling around" and upload the results. really really nice, farge!
