Lived in Venezuela, moving back in november. I wish people would quit blaming their problems on corrupt politicians. If someone is screwing up your country shoot them and stop complaining! And Chavez doesn't cause venezuelas problems, Venezuelans do! If the majority of you weren't corrupt and bribing each other and spending money on big parties instead of on real social programs your country wouldn't be going downhill. Communism works best when the people are desperate. When people have money and resources, long term goals such as buying a home and looking towards future politics are rational. When you have no jobs money cupport or nice places to look at and visit, the more immediate becomes the most rational, food, water shelter. Once the people are broken, the great leader can provide.

Homicides up 250% only 5% of those are resolved. Kidnapings up 430% since 1998 , police brutality impunity, only 1,2% of policemen are convicted for murders they are charged with, the list goes on and on. Caracas is as, or more dangerous than Cuidad Juarez at the moment. Chavez's goverment stoped publishing homicide rates in 2005.

Veo muchas diferencias entre el 98 y el 2005 pero tambien veo muchas cosas que son iguales y hasta peores. Mi pregunta seria, a caso un presidente hace un pais? creo que si hay responsabilidad en casos como el de La Guaira, el desastre natural vino y no activo los mecanismos para rehabilitar la zona. 1- La fuente de Plaza Venezuela fue restaurada y esta nueva version es mucho mas hermosa que la anterior.
2- El viaducto Caracas-La Guaira se cayo solo.. o pretendes decir que los chavistas lo tiraron? (fuiste ilogico)

Necesitamos inversión y chavez la destruye con estas expropiaciones. Esos viajes que hace con dinero de todos los vzlanos, para buscarla, no se entiende, en éste mal llamado socialismo. Después que es expropiada, se abandonan, no les pagan al personal, son desmejoradas, a quien engañan. Vamos de mal en peor, por culpa de éste gobierno, que en mala hora tenemos y que es cómo un cáncer, que, era curable cuando se diagnosticó, pero hizo metastásis y se regó por todo el país.
