  • Saying all that, it would be an early '75 car. Very nice.

  • No,this isn't a '74 but the owner was probably just using the build date on the decal as the year. Not knowing that earlier build dates are of course are from the preceding year of the actual model year. It's a nice 75/76 regardless.

  • To end all speculations about this car....

It is a 1975 Lincoln with 460 cu in. engine with 155kW.

I bought it in august 2010 and now found it here on YouTube.

I just recognized it by a window sticker from some Florida beach parking

and some damage on a vinyl roof on the right side under the back window...

  • That is not a 1974, it's either a 75 or 76.

  • What country was this in?

  • @dejohn913

    Estonia, Tartu.

  • @ClassicDragRace Thank You My Friend. I'm From The US I Have A 1988 Mark 7 Bill Blass Edition. I'm The Second Owner. By The Way Nice Lincoln.

  • I just noticed the foreign license plates, so it might be a 1974. Maybe Lincoln used the 1974 model from a foreign country, as the American 1975 model.

  • Nice to see an lincoln from Estonia

  • So wtf is that? 0:16

You wanna say that owner of this car don`t know what he drives?

  • You idiots! Its a 1975 model, not a 1974. Such ignorance! No parts are 1974.

The car may have been MADE in 1974, because you morons, American car models come out in the Fall of the year prior to the official model year (approx September of the year before) and run to Summer of the nominal year.

Ignorant fools get them and insist they have the year model prior because they don't know this most basic fact of American car manufacturing.

F*ck a duck! Do your frickin' homework.

  • @Dermot460 How can you tell a 1975 from a 1976. Both look the same to me, but it's definitly not a 1974.

  • It may have been built in 1974, but it's a 1975. You can tell from the tail lights and the B pillar design of the rear opera window.

  • @ClassicDragRace I don't care either but it's really not a '74 Lincoln but a '75.

  • @ClassicDragRace Why would Lincoln build a '74 out of parts from a '75.This is a 1975 model I'm 100% sure.OK.Sometimes they build models in the year before they come out,but i don't think this is one of them. You should look up the VIN somwhere to find out.

  • No way that this is a '74 Lincoln. It's a '75 or a '76.The tail lights on the '74 are totally different.

  • 1975 Lincoln Continental w/Town Coupe (Town Car on the 4-drs), without question.

  • That is a 1975 model; the steering wheel gives it away.

  • Agreed, this is a 1975 model body style and interior style. If that title states it's a 74 then it must be a "very" late model 74, when the 1975 bodies started rolling down the line. But this body is not that of a 1974. The back end and interior are way different. I happen to like the seat options of 75 through 79 much better though. I love the pillow seats. I put a set from a 1978 lincoln 4 door into my 74 continental.

  • This is a 1975, not a 1974. Tail lights tell the story.

  • 1974's are incredibly rare. 1975's aren't exactly numerous, but somewhat easier to find. All exceptional automobiles. The formality of the 75 is far more elegant. The 74 had a much more fastback fuselage sweeping C-pillar more in character with the earlier 70's...plus it had working rear windows.

  • but such a beautiful 75 Town Coupe. that's NINETEEN HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FIVE. 1975

  • I'm not really sure what a noob is, but if it means a person who knows the difference between a 74 Lincoln and a 75, well I guess I am. 74 coupes are hardtops and 75's have fixed b-pillars and opera windows(duh). different grilles..different dash..TOTALLY different tail light assembly....research is informative.

  • you are right. this is a 1975 town coupe.

  • I do believe this is a 1975

  • info is @ 0:18 you noob!

    From Lincoln owner!!!

    stupid ass...

  • classic

  • the best Lincoln ever made! =)
