good mix, as a friendly comment, have you tried leaving the cross fader in the middle for the whole mix and using the volume faders to bring tunes in and take them out, theres a much better gradient on them so it may sound smoother!

Mixing on Kams is not easy, i been male DJ for years and i always stuck by Technics, i started on kams, and the drive is very slow, if you can mix on these you can mix anything!

A small piece of advice, the up faders (volume) provide a much smoother fading arch than the crossfader does. If you set up your stereo properly it is possible to make the drops sound smoother despite doing practically the same thing. Works great for drum n bass if you get the levels right.

can't believe you won with this mix. i recon its your least crisp mix outta all your vid's. i feel like your racing to drop the next track in. and as a result the mixes get a bit sloppy and out of sync. i find its better 2 take a bit longer pitching up the next tune in the headphones. rather than loads of tunes playing for 1 minute at a time with short sloppy mixes inbetween

I reckon you should have left the first two tracks together for longer, possibly not have put in the Outta Space tune, as it sounds farrrrr too sped up.

Your beat matching is pretty good though. What's the name of the tune after the Cut & Run one? it's a well good remix.

this mix is not as good as all the copmments say. some of the mixes could be tighter, the track choice is obvious and towards the middle the tunes really really dont suit each other. another thing is the stylt of micing. it doesnt sound like what mixing should, it just sounds like someone quickly swapping tracks. nice try but the other mixes you have done are better. seems to me that youve let the positive feedback from older mixes get to your head and now you arnt as good as u were.

he was giving constructive feedback and i agree with him, some people are very good and get alot of positive feedback but when they do a poor mix then people still give good feedback cus there usually good but when someone voices there opinion and says it's not a great mix everyone jumps on them, it's good to get negative feedback so you know what to improve on

I know most of it comes down to personal opinion and how the crowd feel but i prefer to slowly eq the tracks in and out.
