  • the octopus never really caught on... it was never well defined

  • "Hullabaloo" was in color for its second season. That's what we see here, including the monumental "Hullabaloo A-Go-Go" sequence with Paul Revere and the Raiders, PLUS the famed go-go dancers in cages.

The last photo is from the film "In Harm's Way" from 1964. This scene was supposedly taking place in 1941, which is absurd because the girl's outfit and hairstyle and movements were completely '60s. For being such a slut, she gets killed a few minutes later in a car accident.

  • @hebneh I thought every "Hullabaloo" episode was taped and originally broadcast in color, but that color tapes of only a few episodes still exist (with most episodes existing only in black-and-white).

  • @altfactor My personal memory is that "Hullabaloo" started in b&w its first season, then switched to color the 2nd year. My family had a color TV then, and I watched the show, thus my belief. This was when other shows were making the same technological changeover ("Bewitched", "Gilligan's Island", etc.)

  • "I'm love my girl but Oh, you squid!" = laugh riot! Turnabout is fairer sexplay!
