  • not bad funny

  • Holy crap. I read the first comment and said "OH Shit its TSSF!" just like chenzi. I have a ton of impulse tracker stuff on RPGamer for FF6 and other games. Impulse tracker is epic and I probably have a ton of TSSF made IT files. Sick.

  • You're fking incredible. Props, sir. Mad props.

  • How old is this program?

  • unreal. Thats amazing, your ear is incredibly accurate.

  • Nice job, that sounded great

  • Oh shi-, it's TSSF. It's been a really long time! You probably don't remember me, but I used to be around in the midi scene and #square on DALnet back in the day.

    Oh, right, awesome video. Ahahah.

  • What was your nick from back in the day? Those were long ago.

  • Good job with those new remakes!

    JP aka pyr0s

  • @tssf holy crap tssf! it's kanis/unix from #square!

  • @Chenzi9X #square on DALnet.. I was in #buzz on efnet. :) trackers 4 lyfe

  • yea you need more time to make this thing again i would have like to hear the finish song

  • The beginningof the song is pretty easy to memorize, it's the rest of the song that I don't think I could ever successfully remake from memory without committing a significant amount of time to it..that's why I never did a "part 2" heh

  • holy crap that program musta been hell to figure out initially. you got the hang of that thing. sickkkk XDDDD

  • I think is program is cool

  • cool!

  • i think this program is cool

  • noooooooo!!!!!!! wheres part 2?? how did you do that?? great vid

  • Damn dudes very identical! Wow. You have some good memory and skills. I have terrible memory but not for music lol. I can literary make orchestras inside my head. But how do you work this program?

  • oh literally?

for realz dawg? that must fucking hurt.

  • Lol XD. It only comes naturally from years of musical experience. I was once the kind of person who would be stumped from such words.

  • errr.. no. you may have musical experience, but you're still stumped by the word "literally".

literally means, "actually". you don't LITERALLY make orchestras in your head. if you did, you'd be trying to cram REAL instruments and PEOPLE inside your skull. instead you should say..

"it's like i can make orchestras in my head".

literally = real, actually, physically manifest

  • I suppose you're right. XD I should have put more consideration into my words before posting. Now I've gone and made a fool of myself. How troubling....

  • haha, good times man, people do it all the time and thus it becomes the subject of many stand-up comic routines.

    but now you'll remember lol.

  • Yeah man thanks for the tip. It's one of those moments where sages tell me the best for me and I accept like a good boy lol. No seriously, I dig the advice.

  • I think this program is cool

  • I THINK THIS PROGRAM IS COOL!!! damn..

  • You told us lol.

  • xDD

  • i think this progra

  • My old favo tracker.. man we maked like 1000's songs on it.

Now im on ruityloops, but inpulse tracker will always be in my heart :)

  • Kickass sounds like the real thing

  • dude thats cool, do u have to buy that program is it hard to use? can u import the song like take it as an MIDI?

  • part 2?

  • Playing things from memory is a good exercise!

  • my mouth was opened from the star of the song to the end of the video!

That was awesome good job and jesus that's what I call patience

    Keep up the good work!!

(sorry for bad english because I don't speak very well, at least thats what I think, it's not my first language)

  • Huh. I always figured IT gods like you were finding input methods in the program that weren't as tedious. But I guess you just have more patience than I do! It pays off. I've always loved your work.

  • It's always nice to hear that I inspired some people to do great things with my mediocre things, but anyways yeah. These things took a lot of patience.

This song took a very long time to learn despite it's simplicity. I know how to do a good 2/3rds of it from memory, however I just don't have time (nor the balls) to make a video of the second part. Lol.

  • @lovelyninja You could use MadTracker. Great UI.

  • Awesome, that was freaken sweet!

  • Very good! Hey, can you tell me where to get

the music SFX? (I just got Schism Tracker myself)

  • OMG, huge fan our yours. Started hearing your music some years back and it just inspired me!

Keep up the great work! 8D

    Jesse~ aka djDarkX

  • wow that's some ancient software you got there :P

  • Hey mat :D skyline here. I figured I was the only tracker still active :)

  • Heheh nope, actually yesterday I showed my class impulse tracker, it was great.

I'm going to school now, Recording Arts canada. It's actually a school that teaches you sound engineering. It's awesome. :D

  • Damn, I am amazed! Both at your dexterity with IT commands and your ability to do those notes from memory, without even checking the playback most of the time! Even in my tracking "prime" I was never that adept. Cool video.

  • part 2?

  • I still freaking love you tssf! :D

  • This is fucking sweet.

  • The power of GFF!!! I'm the one person that would spend an entire afternoon watching you write the whole song pattern by pattern.

What command did you use almost 4 minutes into it on channel three to change the octave of the entire channel, and is it in IT as well?!

Google my alias. The first hit is me.

  • Select a block (alt-b to begin, alt-e to end, alt-l for the whole column) and then start hitting alt-q to transpose the block up, and alt-a to transpose the block down. That was one of my favourite hotkeys back in the Impulse Tracker days. :) And yeah, it works with the original IT.

  • You made the fast part too loud. It made me wonder what song this was for a while there.

  • Wow. So many memories ... I love trackers and I am working with my new Korg R3 and renoise today.. into the next generation I say!

  • INCREDIBLE!!!!~

you are fast! how do you remember all the notes as well????

i spent years with this program as a kid

    many many fond memories

my first steps into music production which i am haevily into and work with today

amazing + plus another weird thing big FF fan,

    A+!!!

  • 5/5!!!

  • Alright everyone, I've decided to accomodate. :) Give me a little bit to relearn the rest of the song, and I will entertain. I hope. ;) This might be a 3-parter series because I don't plan on getting a "Director's" account.

  • 5/5

  • Dude that was uber. You should remake it fully done and upload it!

  • i think you did a great job, why don't you do it and upload it all fully done? and also send the file i like more how the files in this kind of software sounds =p still nice work (maybe you already did this song, cause i just found this link ^^) nice work

  • Pretty fast work, it seems like! It seems to take a helluva lot longer to notate something in Sonar, for example.

  • Close enough!

  • whoa, you managed to do all that in the windows version without crashing?? And that's a cvs from about a year ago =)

  • Very nice.. people in the world do not appreciate this sorta thing.. sad. Great Work!

  • :o you are... the best freakin musician I know XD

  • I'd watch the whole thing. :)
