  • You should never use a brush when you're brushing wet hair, it breaks off your hair and isn't healthy for it. Start at the ends with a wide-tooth comb they're cheap and you can get them basically anywhere like CVS, Sally's, ect. Then go to the roots and comb from the bottom up! I'm a learning cosmetologist so take it from me!

  • Agh! I can hear your hair breaking... Please don't ever use a brush on your hair while it's wet... And you brushed your hair from the roots!! Always start at the ends to detangle the knots!! Use a wide-toothed comb, please!!

  • if your hair is wet and 'dripping onto your lap' then dont freaking use a paddle brush.. especially when its tangled cause youre gonna rip all your hair out.

  • Who would want to watch 5 mintues of you brushing your tangeled hair in a wrong way!

  • Shit you wasted about 20 minutes of my life on nothing! You talk too much about useless stuff. Just get to the point! The first half or something was totally useless. Nothing!

  • U talk a lil too much .. Useless things shudnt b said =_= still

    Good

  • Try brushing your hair starting from the bottom, then gradually move up this stops tangles getting bigger and just makes it easier to brush your hair!(:

  • if ur going to do something, show it entirely the correct way, waste of time. and shes boring

  • would it work if you use hot air instead of cold because if you use cold air after you take a shower you will get sick

  • @Myilduz71 its better to use hot hair on ur hair roots then cold air for the strands. :)

  • @MrTwat91 Me too ! I tried this but it just made my hair more thick and without curls ! like an afro

  • Wow the way your eyes crease is so lovely. Lol yaaa I'm weird.

  • Doesnt combing your hair when its wet damages ur hair and creates more split ends?

  • This didn't work on me but great vid.

  • should you do this on dry hair?

That are available Everywhere! if u could answer this question then thankyou LOADS! ill be watching ... <3

  • @mariammonroe Since no one really likes bobby pins; including myself--- you could use a hair net that is usually used in salons to hold the rollers up as support. Right after you finish placing the pins on your head, put the net on, tie it and then remove the bobby pins through the holes of the net and the hair will stay in place.

  • does it work for curly/puffy hair???

  • does this work for male hair? just wondering

  • Water dissolves the weak keratin bonds in each strand of hair. That's why drying wet hair straight or curly makes it keep the shape; the bonds dissolve and re-form when the hair dries.

  • wut bout the part thats not clipped?

  • My hair is right onto of my shoulders, so it's a bit short to do this.. I tried to though!

  • I agree you talk too much

  • you talk TO much

  • I hope it works on curly frizzy hair x

  • @NLovesu11 does it?? I have the same hair as you!

  • My mom does that to me all the time ! (: She Calls it a Doobie. :D

  • WOW, I just tried out this method and i love my hair :). Its not perfect straight but its a bit straight and guess what?It gave volume to my hair.Muah thank u so much to u and ur mom :)Love ya.Bt i love ur dog.He is so adorable:)

  • omg if I ever brushed my hair like that... from the top to the bottom, when it's wet and full of tangles... i'd be bald by now x__x congratulations, you must have a very strong hair

  • i tried the third method and it didnt work :(

  • Is your dog's name Killer? He's adorable!

  • GOSH! Ur so harsh on your hair... I'm surprised your Mum didn't tell you that you're not suppose to brush your hair when its wet/damp because its at the weakest when wet.... This is actually a tip to lose hair soooooon! Shessh!

  • So how long did you leave your hair in a towel like that? And also, does hair length or thickness affect the amount of time you leave your hair in the towel?

  • I cringed while u were brushing your wet hair tangles!!!!! O_O...It was like listening nails on Chalkboard, painful!!!

    OUCH!!!!!!

Girl get a detangler and a wide tooth... or at least do it slower and more gentle!!!!!

  • does this work for any hair? like really curly hair?

  • Cutie dog! =))))

  • i feel like i made a new friend todayy ^-^

  • This works so freaked good!!! Thankkksss so much!!!

  • AWWH YOUR DOG'S SO CUTE>.<

  • @BlueTurkeys23 ughhh i know!!! i love him!! hahaha

  • @mariammonroe hey, i was wondering if this works for curly hair too, my hair is really curly!

  • this makes my hair straight put very frizy

  • if i brush my hair it freezes xD

people with curly light brown hair, dont try it :D just use a straightener :P

  • Ur dog is soo cute!!

  • How can anyone talk so much without saying anything?

  • Us puertorricans do that anyhow can u do the doobie on short hair?

  • @598lia i dont see why not

  • Cute dog

  • it also works if your hair is all dryed up , mostly people who do this call it a doobie. you did it kind of messy which for some people it dont come out not to straight for some yeah others no. i do mines more neat but messy way is another way too....just saying

  • @KittyPrincess07 most retarded thing I ever hear

  • Soo , right now my hair is wrapped and I'm on my iPod watching youtube videos , hoping that this will work , and in the morning I have straight hair without using heat . Fingers crossed -3

  • @me12121980 Hmmm... How? I Just Wanna Faster This. Because Our Internet Isn't Working Fast.

  • @me12121980 Did it work? :)

  • @JoeJackedMySwag omgg yeess i loovve youuu <3 , thannnkkkss <3

  • @me12121980 awesome!

  • plus, when your doing this technique of wrapping the hair, makes it softer on the inner hair. Like if u part your hair from the side of your head and flip it, you'll see its smoother on the inside. My theory :P awesome vid! :)

  • actual tutorial starts at 6:00 if anyone is wondering

  • you're already damaging your hair by brushing your hair while it's really wet .

you should use a wide tooth comb (:

  • Thanks so much for this tutorial!

I actually tried this last night .My hair was kinda poofy afterwards, but it was still relatively straight when compared to my naturally curly hair. And I love how this requires no heat. I'll definitely be using this technique again. :)

  • Hi I can't use Bobby pins so is there anything else I can use.

  • @BrutalNative91 bobby pins are kinda annoying, and everyone below mentioned adding tissue paper between them....but you can also use alligator clips! im sure you'd still have to use tissue paper to avoid crease marks from the clips.

  • @BrutalNative91 wtf how?

  • thats how you wrap a african american womens hair well at least they used to do that and use product

  • i like how u say iron

  • my hair is really thick and puffy, also my hair is very damaged and bad its not very good with heat also. So is there another hair thank you :D

  • thank you for your help by the way your dog is so cute!

  • will this work even if ur hair is curly

  • @leeleigh1928 depends on how curly your hair is. Usually it wont be very straight, it may be soft waves? please read below i've answered that question many times, and a few people with curly hair tried it and gave their opinions below as well.

  • why do u BRUSH YOUR HAIR WITH A BRUSH OMG .

  • I your hair naturally curly?

  • 0.59 it looks lik you have a crown on ur head lol.

  • @xBornxThisxWay lol! a hair product crown...hahaha glad you found part 1!

  • D:< you dont have curly hair!!!!

  • So you're pretty much using your head as a giant roller. Interesting. I don' think I have the patience for this technique though. And I hate bobby pins. ಠ_ಠ

  • @c0c0nu7s HAHA i never thought of it that way..but yes!! It takes a lot of patience when first learning it, but i promise it speeds up.....PS - i effing HATE bobby pins too!! i get crazy headaches from them, and i hate that sometimes they pull my hair out when i go to remove them...grrr.....

  • using a brush on wet hair damages it!!!

  • where did you get that huge brush

  • i tried this it was very complicated and i dont have a fan cant find my blow dryer so do have quicker ways to straighten without heat i will be so happy

  • @fireferiy52693 you could wash it the night before and loosely braid it. that way when you take it out in the morning its beach wavy

  • wow your hair looks pretty straight when you start this.. probably won't work with mine..

  • or you could just say 'screw all this is too much work' and let your hair dry then straighten it. |:

  • @katelovesrice lol, that is definetly an option too...haha

  • @mariammonroe

haha, wow, you actually commented back! :P

it was sort of a joke though. but that's what I do.. I'm lazy.. but very creative ideas! nice!:)

  • well, the hair that is at the right side of your head cuz when my hair dries, it goes all pouff so yeah what happends after?

  • sorry but rolling ur hair like that its not healthy at all no kidding !!!!

  • @rania4707 interesting perspective. I'd like to know why its not healthy....

  • @mariammonroe it moves all the hair oils...but it come back in like 2 hours so wo cares

  • @mariammonroe thanks so much :)

  • I think tht she meant what do you do if your hair is really short. :)

  • @sumaiya31219 OHHHH!! damnit, how did i not see that....haha thank you!!

  • question what ig ur hair is quite short? :)

  • @fyiiloveonedirection sorry i dont understand the question? please let me know what you meant, i'd love to answer it!

  • @fyiiloveonedirection Sorry! i get the question now! If your hair is really short, like chin length, you could easily get away with the fan concept of just wir drying it and combing it as the cold air hits you. If its a little longer, say to your shoulders, you can DEFINETLY do this still. To be honest it works on all hair types....anything you can bobby pin down will work.

  • /omg ur so frickin pretty i am so jealous right now lol xx :)

  • i would get all my hair in my brush if i would brush my wet hair so hard

  • Comment removed

  • dont u have to use heat of some kind. Cause african american women use this method and sit under a dryer or use rollers...i thought its the heat that activates the process and is still better than flat ironing?

  • @dhodi123 you're right! they do! however, its two totally different hair types. and this works great without heat for all other hair types other than African American hair

  • @mariammonroe thanks for replying! cant wait to try this

  • Using the cold setting on my hair dryer took me ages...the outcome was okay though

  • @ReemROXXX it should! just wrap it very tightly! it may not be straight straight....you may end up with soft hollywood glam hair....worth a shot! try it out and let us know!! My dog (Killer, lol)is a miniature poodle, maltese and terrier mix! i loveeee himmmm!!

  • I agree with choqoLatee2u... LHC brought me to your video because of the ripping sounds your brush makes and it's making me queazy, but I watched for the no heat method. What you're doing may as well be the equivalent to heating. And it always gets frizzy because it's the oldest hair that's being subject to ripping... Your ends.. :( Sorry LHC ruined me for quality hair, but your idea of straightening is something I haven't seen before.

  • @iLYBlueBerries yes! look down below in the past couple of comments. I explained how to do bags. Basically to sum it up. pin your bangs first/last depending on which side/front/back you pin them. if you want them to the side, wrap it with the rest. if you want them to be forward, pin them last, or leave them out while you sleep. play around with different options, and you'll find what works best for the style you're looking for. you may just have to tweak it in the beginning.

  • ps

    cute puppy

  • thanks alot..................

i also used a few drops of serum and now my hair looks and feel smooth and manageable... thx again

  • @mariammonroe OMG Mom Does the same thing but only when i straight it first at the salon i have like really frizzy hair i use a couple of products nothing really works i hate it cause i have to go to school with it -.- but thx for the video ann' you 're really funny .

Ps i love your dog <3

  • @HibaMichani aww thanks! im glad you enjoyed it! i love that doggggg!!! lol

  • @mariammonroe heheh Welcome

  • @Pinkpartygal101 haha mine too! i think most people with thick hair or that have natural waves and curls to their hair get the same effect when they turban wrap it

  • eughh! i cant use bobbypins!:'(

  • Which Method Is The Easiest And Fastest Because I Only Have 30 Minutes To Get Dressed And Stuff For School Each Morning And I Dont Wanna Use A Straightning Iron x] Please Reply I Hate My Stupid Curly Hair Dx

  • @192243182635 your best bet would be to wrap it the night before and sleep on it...that way if you wanna only spend 5 minutes teasing in the morning or styling, it is MUCH faster!!! Do the pinning the night before while watching tv, or youtube videos!! it goes by much faster that way, till you get the hang of it. then it literally will take you 10 minutes to do every night. no lie.

  • @mariammonroe

    Ok Thanks!

  • @mariammonroe but i hav thin frizzy hair. it also gets messy easily in a gental wlnd.. i just was straight manageable hair.. i hate my frizzy curls. is their a way to get rid of this???

  • @sonashov try using a leave in conditioning mask. That will put moisture into your hair, and will help deeply condition the hairs also.Another option is to have the Keratin treatment done, or brazillian blow out if you want to completely get rid of the curls for a couple months, and just towel dry your hair and go!

  • i have the same exact brush!!

  • How do u make ur hair so long

  • @xCOMExATxMEx ...you don't cut it. And when you do, you just trim it enough to take the dead ends off.

  • ur jst tooo slow, make it faster,

  • this is a wanderful video. ur dog is also adorable.

  • @10miray I know i love him!!! lol

  • Thanks very much for this movie :) . I have curly, frizzy and gentle hair, even after straightening. Today I'll try this method.

  • @pallutus i hope this works well for you!!

  • @mariammonroe I tried. There I received a good effects as You, but it helped me. Were slightly wavy hair - I have the same effect on straightening with brush ( I have a troublesome hair). Your proposal less destroys the hair, so thanks you very much;]. It's worth try out.

  • @pallutus awwww, wel im glad there was at least one good thing that came out of all of the effort!

  • If you brush from the ends to the roots it doent tug as much :)

  • I tried this but i got bobby pin marks in my hair. any suggestions?

  • @allieskater818 alot of the people who have tried this left a comment below stating they put little pieces of tissue between it so that they dont have those dents in their hair. Give it a shot! =)

  • Thats olmost like wath they call in my country a duby duby

  • @kimy1luv duby duby...that sounds so cute lol. what country? (=

  • @egyprincess6894 puerto rico

  • haha hair porn.

  • use a wide tooth comb, it's much helthier (:

  • @TheOfficialPrince100 I believe its from not cutting it! ;D
