I hated this storm, i live in mclouth and we were out of school for about 2 weeks, that didn't make up for what happened though, we had to all gather around this tiny little propane stove for a week and sit and do nothing, all we had to eat was chips and stuff, and when it finally ended we had tons of trees strewn all over our yard, and our deck, it was impossible to get out of the house. i hope this doesn't happen again.

those metal high lines bent in half that was crazy i remember sitting in my apartment on the square for 3 days while it stormed

thanks for the pics. I used to live in Oskaloosa and they brought back memories of places and the winters! I live in PA now and they talk about how cold it is here....I tell them "you ought to spend a winter in IA!"

Yeah. We had a tree fall through our roof. Missed my brother by literally just a few inches. Our upstairs is still a mess.

Cool. Was it noisy all night, with crashing trees? I've been in such, from Buffalo to Kalamazoo, to KCMO.
