  • Thanx dude love the lessons, you make it real easy!

  • Well done. Just a note. In the very end, where you wrote in the Tab as the B string being pressed on the 7th fret I think you meant 6th. You play it quite right though. Cheers :)

  • @Anntartist -yes you're right and I fixed it, thanks.

  • Right on buddy, been trying to figure out some of those chords for a while!

  • The intro of the live acoustic version at Meltdown starts on Em. The song is in Gm though.

  • like your red speakers, are those Polk Audio speakers?

  • @jeffs1000 Thanks. They are KRK Rokit 6fr studio monitor speakers.

  • 1:20 is that really a D minor chord? I think it's A mayor.

    Dm

    E-5

    A-7

    D-7

    G-6

    B-5

    e-5

  • @Juergen6 thanks for the heads up. It's been fixed.

  • Brilliant!! Thank you so much for doing all the work involved and posting this video. I appreciate it very much. I play piano, and have been wanting to put this one to piano for quite a while, but didn't know the chords involved (other than the known Gm) Thanks again, now I can get back to work on this wonderful piece!

  • OMFG U help me so much with that lesson ! Cheers from Brazil !

  • Great tutorial, Would you do one for the Instrumental Version of Shine on You Crazy Diamond part IX? Or have the chords for part IX? thank you!

  • Thanks everyone for watching and commenting, I don't get many comments so when I read some of these it makes my day.

  • As a competitve cyclist and a Pink Floyd fanatic, finding this video of you with a Livestrong shirt and wrist band playing one of the best songs ever, made me very happy. Thanks man!

  • Yes, excellent voice. Thought it was Gilmour singing himself...

  • just merci boucoup

  • Great stuff. Unfortunately my guitar doesn't have all those chords in it!

  • And your tabs are upside down

  • Why not just write "0" instead of "open"?

  • @zorkan111 I did use a 0 in some of the annotations- I was just trying to make it really clear plus there was space.

The tabs are correct, its just not standard format. Too much work to change it now.

  • Thanks from Brazil!! Nice voice by the way!

  • how do you play the e flat and d chords @ 3:58 ?? i can't tell from the video and am pretty new to barre chords

  • @JewofCanada I added annotation descriptions for the Eb & D chords. Check out the video again. Hope it helps.

  • @LowFlyer1200 thanks! i was having a hard time figuring that one out. great tutorial helping me to learn one of my favorite songs!

  • @LowFlyer1200

Are you sure it starts on Em? It's rather Gm, i think...

  • Can u please tell me in what scale are the small licks in the start. Im beginner and i cant figure it out... i try play it but i do some major mistakes sometimes and it sounds horrible... Thx alot for the video. It will help me and others improve their barre chords with songs we love.
