It has been officially announced that a Kingdom Hearts 3 is in the works, but at a minimum, due to the fact that the entire team is already occupied on: "Final Fantasy Versus XIII".. As soon as FFVersusXIII has been finished, they will put their attention on KH3.. And it has also been confirmed that the main character will once again be Sora, picking up from where KH2 left off.. Google it, the official report is out there, I've read it a few months ago.

Birth By Sleep is more of a prequel to everything that happens before Kingdom Hearts I got started. Kinda of how 358/2 and Chain of Memories go in between KHI and KHII. More back story. I think the whole series goes in this order: Birth by Sleep-KHI-Chain of Memories-358-2-KHII then Kingdom Hearts II if there is ever going to be one,

Actually, ElCubanoLokkoandJri94, Birth By Sleep is a completely new story that takes place before Kingdom Hearts 1, during Kingdom Hearts COM and BBS and after Kh2, which leads in to Kingdom Hearts 3. And yes, it's already out in Japan, it's been out for a few months now, it's extremely fun, and the new battle system is pretty awesome too.

Nomura said that the "3D" is an acronym for the subtitle, which is not "three dimensional." The story will pick up where KH2 left off and will lead into the story of KH3. This game is yet another "side story" to keep us fans busy while the production team that works on KH main entries (and therefore KH3) finishes up FF Versus XIII.

Have you played Days? Days starts a little before CoM because Axel tells Roxas that he's going to C.O. A few days later Saïx says that everyone in C.O is dead. Roxas and Axel have a reunion on Day 70-something.

Sora goes to sleep and Roxas falls into a coma. Xion puts seashells on his bed for everyday. On Day 357, Xion is killed by Roxas. A week later, Roxas is in the Virtual Twilight Town. Sora wakes up when Roxas is exactly a year old.
