Yea the vocals are definitely over dubbed after live recording .I saw Whitesnake last year and David Coverdales voice is not as good as it use to be .He cannot hit the high notes and also gets the audience to do a lot of the singing .It's s pity cos he had such a great voice .

David Coverdale is certainly not a clone of Robert Plant, and the other way around. For me I think they have different voices, but similar technique, but there will always be those fans either of Plant or David, that will argue who is better. I think they should just shut up and listen to the good music.
@stardust19000 I feel that David´s voice is deeper and more bluesy, whereas Plant´s voice is more high pitched and intense....Though both can tear it up when they want to! Love them both!
@stardust19000, they do have slightly different voices but there have been times where Coverdale has sounded exactly like Robert Plant. I've played Slow 'N' Easy in my car for a few of my friends and they asked me "what Led Zeppelin album was this from?" That song in particular thoiugh I have to say the Led Zeppelin vibe is stronger than normal.
@stardust19000 i agree with you...the technique i must say its not the same...plant uses more fake than real vocals on many many studio songs...coverdale uses more real than fake...many singers reach high notes either with real or fake or combination of both...the result is that we hear great songs great voices great artists :))
Dave Coverdale has always been one of my three favorite hard rock singers, along with Ian Gillan and Ronnie Dio. He has kept his great voice quite well and his charm and showmanship too.

well i'm not so sure about the vocals. the singing doesnt fit with his lip moving but the instruments are synchron with the video. the might have re-recorded it or at least might have used some overdubs. at all the vocals sound artificial.
To bassorc ..... that would be the way youtube converts the video during upload. The original DVD hasn't got those issues. A voice like Coverdale's doesn't need ANY assistance. He's the best there is - period.

i've heard don dokken, the guy from winger, white lion, and they pretty much lost it. but coverdale sounds amazing!!! and this live version with the crowd singing and clapping along, man it's freakin' awesome!!!
