its all a mix of genres. to make their own sound its like cooking if you dont throw the right ingedents into the mix its going to taste, or in this case sound like shit. the mix of carnal forge is a cohesive to people that cant understand the deep growl preaching like eternal hatred, or canibal corpse. you must like all metal cause at the end of the day, its still not rap!

There are probably all bands you've heard of and listened to but it's my personal opinion that they are good.

I personally like Nevermore a lot more than Dream Theatre however but are still a kicks-ass band. Iced Earth and Cynic are a few other recommendations.
