  • this is Bluetech right??

  • Amazing amazing art life and soul art

  • i like porn

  • first song is cosmologic by bluetech.

  • Holy SMOKES!

So I'm a first year art student (in painting), and I went to art school due to the stuff I've seen while out there, on DMT and Salvia.

When I have my first exposition, I want this EXACT type of LED light and Shpongle music to pulsate on my art. This is AMAZING, thanks for a great idea :)

  • Who does the music???

  • brilliant.......his work takes on a whole new life. it really comes alive. especially the eyes, and the jesus crucifiction on the globes.

  • why is everything so blue???? he uses more colors than this....or are u using a blacklight?

  • can anyone tell me the name of the song please?

  • OK I have to admit I was skeptical, but I'm eatin' crow that was badass. I didn't think he could get any cooler but you made it so. Thanks.

  • i have never seen art like this in my life Alex Grey is the Emperor.

  • Can you please tell me, what is the name of the song in 3:36???

    please

  • this is the work of a genius!!!

  • Amazing - this man can trully see the other relms and dimentions in this universe and can put it into art work likght that. unreal

  • i love how Shpongle enters in the end

  • @enagod yeh, it´s perfect. They´re as outstanding in music in our time as Alex & Luke Brown are in art.

  • what screen saver was that at 3:15 ?!?!?!!

  • good artwork... has nothing to do with 3rd eye :)

  • @pidromonz Glad that makes you smile weirdo. :)

  • Fantastic idea! I am really glad that you thought to do that so I could see that. Amazing!

  • wow. more than a thousand words images

  • everybody just chill and admire what this man has created

  • whats the name of the throat sung song at the end?

  • Comment removed

  • if you like that throught stuff check out Phil Thornton tibeten meditation

  • Hey...What's that picture that comes up at 2:38 ? I remember seeing it on the net a long time ago...Some weird animation where the picture changes. Know where i could find it?

  • Zoomquilt, google it. There are two of them.

  • @J3LUNT thx dude. rly cool :D

  • Greatest transdimentional artist I have ever seen. His ability to bring his visions so vividly into our 3rd dimensional realm is just mind blowing! What a gifts this man has brought to us all...Thank you Alex!!!

  • 1st song is Bluetech - Cosmologic

  • This has nothing to do with 'reflection', except in the reflection of different frequencies of light from the painting. What's happening is the different colors of light being cycled through are acting as filters for the different colors already existing in the painting. To put it simply: Looking at the paintings in certain different colors of light allows you to focus on certain colors of the painting. Like presenting it in layers, with each layer being a different color, showing the complexity

  • ok that face with the big tunnel into how far does that go ..im so freaking astonished i cant stop replaying it

  • GREAT

see also 2012 the song - Harry Loco

  • Any1 know the name of the first song?

  • Alex Grey actually does most of his artwork on glass. I'm not sure how, but I read this article in a local paper where I live. It's almost always on glass, which I guess might explain the LED effects on the paintings. Reflections you know?

  • That is absolutely not true. Almost all of his paintings are on canvas, aside from the few on wood paneling. furthermore the ones in this video are in a book entitled "Transfigurations". So the glossy paper may more likely be the culprit of causing reflection.

  • I wonder why he chose painting, you would think with such a transcendent style of mission he would have been drawn to more enveloping disciplines since pictures on canvas can be quite static. Its still quite thought provoking though even though a painting by nature is only done after the fact (meaning mind trip).

  • That is the most stupid shit I ever heard "twistswitch",

Painting is the most transcendent practice I know of to exist. Do you have any "disciplines" you know of to be more worth while? you dip-shit; don't question the legitimacy of a painters role on this earth, we are more valuable than you would like to admit. PAINTERS MUST BE RESPECTED! Most of you don't know a thing about painting and if you did you would know there is nothing happing in this video.

  • Alex Grey worked his whole life as a painter. Try to rival his abilities or disregard the craft and it will only show your ignorance. "Pictures on canvas being quite static"?!!? what would you rather watch another movie? Dip-shit.

  • 5 stars.

  • whats the first song? i know the other song is DMT by Shpongle, good music!!

  • flow into the imagination and you can do art like this.

  • 2.00. cool

  • WHOAAAA!!! I can't believe I am unfamiliar with him.. Thank you! And how did come upon the LED idea?

  • again, the number 8

  • I seriously wish I could do art like that. I'm even gonna give it a try but it will be nowhere near as good as Alex's.

  • all you need is vision and dedication. The rest will follow.

  • Nah, it won't be like Alex's. It may be something completely different but equally as wonderful. Go for it!

  • What kind of paints does he use to allow the light to shine through like that? Or is it the type of paper he uses?

  • He uses mostly acrylic paints on canvas...he is just very good!

  • Probably both. The paper probably had the consistency of cloth, and the paint was probably thin.

  • And it is also probable that I am good and stoned.

  • Its transparent paint. there is no paper you dip-shit, the only paper is the one that the image is printed on in the book. he paints on canvas and wood like many painters.

  • Are you gonna call everyone a dip shit? Seriously, stfu, you are the epitome of a douche. Now please go step on a land mine

  • WOW THE MOST AMSING ART IVE EVER SEEN!

  • Picasso and all those french fags don't stand a chance against Alex Grey..he's the shit!!!

  • What an enlightened comment.

  • May Alex Grey's work help humanity achieve untold greatness, goodness, esthetics and truth.

  • he was amazingly close with the black womans mind encirling the earth and creating it with her consciousness at 1:57 less than half way through this video this guy really is trying to wake up. good for him

  • GREAT WORK !!!

  • I can actually feel his artwork

  • wow this guy has some of the tightest drawings i have seen in my entire life hands down. i have definitley seen some of those patterns while channeling my vision with my eyes closed- does anyone know what im talking about? oh and i also see a distinct connection between Grey's drawings and human's "aura" and chakra centers. i post long comments.

  • even more unbeleiveable.

its not drawing, its painting :O!

  • i know what you speak of. good times.

  • alex had a showing for the ART BASEL in a warehouse by were I live and guess what? I FUC#@NG MISSED IT !!!

  • I'm amazed that alex could so accurately bring these images back. They are like dreams. There are consistant patterns and colors within our minds. I'm so happy to be able to see these here. Great for meditation.

  • Ass

  • i dont know why... but this video sort of scared me...

  • These images point to truth, which is truly seen by the self.

The ego is terrified to learn that it may not even exist ...

we are not what we think.

  • "Turn On

    Tune In

    Drop Out"

    RIP Tim Leary

  • jajajajajaj wwtf 2:30 jajajaa that was stupid

  • great video but i dont really understand the "mood experiment "

  • that would be really awesome tattoos, especially on one's entire back.

  • cool paintings. I like them. It's not even my 'type' but they are very interesting.

  • Wow that was intense. Awesome. I love this

  • allpacallpa is a fucking hater bitch you wish you coud touch alex for even one moment you pretencious art critic

  • have you seen the interview "alex grey on ayahuasca" ?? maybe then you would understand from where inspiration comes from...this video is awesome...the changing colors ...the details...the energy body etc...

  • ..and I think that it is shit.

  • and it's all wrong...narrow minded and limited way of thinking...look beyond the artist himself...

  • whats the music near the end plz?:)

  • Shpongle - Divine Moments of Truth

  • Thanks!

  • wicked, absolutely inspireing art work of a world u visit alex, does anyone know the name of the song at the end?

    thanks

  • Divine Moments of Truth by Shpongle

  • woah! thats really cool:)

  • love the timothy leary quote.

  • i love you alex!!!! ssooo trippy!! <3 xxx

  • So that's what happens when Art, Science, Imagination, Skill and Insight get together... Yikes!

  • I think it has an even more exciting effect when applied to pictures of the cosmos

    /watch?v=j9bgYJ4VT78

  • that would be a neat experiment however the video you show use computer effects. the images i use are affected by actual light reflecting off of the images.

  • just sick

  • WoW...

  • So beautiful. Alex Gray is so amazing and his work is so beautiful and full of energy and light.

  • DMT is a drug found in many plants like a dog grass.

  • DMT is a substance found in many plants and animals. In fact most of them produce it. Dmt is also produced in the human pineal at birth, death and some say... during alien "abductions" or somethin`. :). We should all try it. At least once. Peace and love!

  • holy shit this guy is sooooooooooo gooooooooooooooood!

  • No words can describe how amazing his work is. Alex Grey is one of the most talented artists on Earth and this video is good demonstration of it. I nearly shit my pants when I look over his book Transfiguration on LSD trip. Everything was 3D like. His materialisation of undescribable experiences through art is simply amazing...

  • thank you

  • this music is Blutech..

  • Oh My Goodness! Amazing DISCOVERY!! ... nice trip

  • alex grey is the BEST

  • Shpongle, track: DivineMomentsofTruth.

liked this, listen to greg hunter!. even better!

  • i love that track

  • great music, who is it?

  • Interesting how this reminded me of my DMT trip! Very interesting, will look into Alex Grey more now! I bet he is huge into DMT, hard to get these visions if you haven't see the true reality yet! I think the music is "Shpongle" it was an experimental trance music, if you listen to the entire thing it will make you feel amazing, specially when I hear "Terence Meckenna" voice! I luved that man!

  • What is a DMT trip? I like this musik very much, but never some trip

  • alex gray's artwork has done for me what religion could not... thank you for posting :).
